Intimidation among coetaneans is a complex problem which is made up of not only the direct protagonists who are the students but also the teachers who interact permanently in the classroom and the educational centre. The goals are oriented to identify the predicting factors of the intimidation among coetaneans, perceived from the different roles (teacher, student), compare the perception of personal, family and socio-educative factors of the intimidation in students and teachers of different genre. The design of the research project is descriptive-comparative, the sample is 606 students and 70 teachers, all of them come from public high schools. Se evaluaron in vitro extractos de siete plantas medicinales utilizadas específicamente contra la leishmaniasis cutánea en la región de Madre de Dios, en el Perú, contra las formas de promastigotes y amastigotes axénicos de la Leishmania amazonensis. Una de ellas mostró interesantes actividades leishmanicidas (IC50 = 5g/ml en amastigotes). El aislamiento bioguiado del extracto eólico de la corteza del tallo de Himatanthus sucuuba (Spruce ex Mull. Arg.) Woodson (Apocynaceae) proporcionó los iridoides espirolactona isoplumericina y plumericina. Esta última mostró una reducción de la infección de los macrófagos similar a la del medicamento de referencia Amphotericin B (IC50 = 0,9 y 1M, respectivamente). Estos hallazgos validan el uso tradicional de Himatanthus sucuuba en el tratamiento de la leishmaniasis cutánea (Uta) en el Perú

The research is descriptive and comparative aims to disseminate the results of psychological research on mindsets of self-talk, positive and negative, and learning styles of students in San Marcos belonging to each of the five academic field organizing vocational training: Health Sciences, Basic Sciences, Engineering, Business and Humanities. For purposes of the study has used two instruments: (1) self-talk Inventory (Calvete, Esteve, Landin), comprising two subscales: positive and negative¸ both with the technical specifications in order to draw conclusions valid and reliable, so we the original statistics, alpha coefficients of 0.89 for negative self-talk scales and 0.86, 0.79 and 0.87 for the subscales of thoughts related to anxiety, depression and anger, respectively. On the other hand, the alpha coefficients were 0.82 for positive self-Scale and 0.72, 0.76 and 0.55 for the subscale...

The objective of this research is the study of the abuse rising in two generations, of parents and children and establishing the relationship between background child’s abuse with the potential abuse. The sample is comprised of 441 students and 303 parents who agreed to answer the Memories of Abuse Questionnaire. The used instruments were the Child History Questionnaire adapted for the purpose of this research, the Inventory of Potential Child Abuse (Milner, J. 1977), adapted by De Paul, Arruabarrena, Múgica and Milner, 1999 in Spain. The results show that both of them (parent and child) the emotional abuse is more frequently followed by physical and sexual abuse, comparing the two generations, the parents show a higher prevalence of abuse. Also the potential for abuse is significantly associated with history of physical abuse and emotional abuse and the children`s abuse is significan...
