In Bolivia there is a strong debate about the precision in the estimation of results disseminated by opinion studies on electoral matters, especially in the last general elections of the 2020 administration, essentially the pre-election polls that estimate the percentage of intention to vote of a candidate running for political authority. In this study, it was analyzed how pre-election surveys should be structured mainly in the part of the sample design, on the other hand, the results released by companies authorized to carry out these studies were analyzed, special emphasis was also placed on the margin of error that is a very important element in the dissemination of results. Likewise, the results of the last general elections 2020 were compared. Finally, the standard error of the valid vote for each candidate was estimated with the Boostrap resampling method using the free software R.

After several investigations in Huaca del Sol (Uhle 1915; Hastings and Moseley 1975, Moseley 1975; Pozorski 1979 Narro Gallardo and 1992, Herrera and Ramirez 1992; Herrera and Chauchat 2003), the archaeological project Huacas de Moche (Moche Temples) initiated a research program that began in 2011. In this article, we present the excavations results in section 2 of Huaca del Sol from the systemic approach by Niklas Luhmann, which helped us to conceptualize and define our procedure to the particular demarcated issues. The conclusions, we present, show in first place, a long building autopoietic process, which has defined a three-phase construction sequence (last, penultimate and antepenultimate. The penultimate phase consists of two sub phases, which would indicate a complex building functionality associated at the beginning to domestic-residential activities and then to palace activities...

The health crisis generated by COVID-19 has changed all our ways of life, including those that are linked to education, going from a teaching presence to a virtual one and that has highlighted the need to advance signicantly in the incorporation of the new technologies in the educational process. In this scenario, the present research aimed to determine the correlations between digital culture and autonomous learning in students of the rst years of a private university in Lima during 2020. For this purpose, a research design was used non-experimental of correlational scope. The study sample was probabilistic and consisted of a total of 352 students, who were administered two assessment instruments: Marina Kriscautzky's digital culture inventory and Mercedes López-Aguado's autonomous learning questionnaire. The statistical results achieved show the existence of signicant and positive cor...

The objective of this research was to demonstrate how the methodology of the English language teacher influences the academic performance of the students of the I semester of the National Service of Training in Industrial Work - SENATI Pisco, with the level in basic English. It is an applied research, of the quasi-experimental type, at an explanatory and transversal level. For this, we worked with a sample of 48 students from 4 sections of General Studies. The instruments that were used were a pre-test, to know their previous knowledge of the four skills in the English language (listening, speaking, writing and reading). After a semester of application, a post test was applied for the 48 students who were in the study, an observation form to register the qualitative information, in the achievement of the competence (knowledge, procedures and attitudes). The results proved that after appl...

It was made a psychometric study of Raven Coloured Progressive Matrices Test, which is a non verbal instrument that evaluates abilities related to make comparisons, thinking for analogy and spatial perceptions organization. It was designed mainly as a measure of factor "g" of Spearman or general intelligence, composed by two abilities, named educational and reproductive. The participants were 2496 students obtained at random considering all school districts (USE) of the city of Lima, Peru. They were primary level students, from 1º to 6º grade and 6 to 11 years old. The psychometric analysis shows that the item-test relation is up to norms (>0.20), so reliability was attained. Also the factor analysis of the items comes up whith one factor explainig the 76% of variance, so construct validity was obtained. Also the calification norms was obtained. The analysis of results points out th...

This paper evaluates the performance of process capability indices, PCI in non-normal situations percentiles using the methods of Clements (CCP CCpk) and Burr (BCP BCpk). Although the PCI is used in industry, there is insuffi cient literature to determine their accuracy by taking into account moderate and severe deviations of the normality. To study these deviations, it performs a comparison of both methods considering simulated data distributions with the Weibull, Lognormal, Beta and Generalized Pareto, GP. In calculating the PCI the CCpk generates smaller deviations with the Weibull distribution, whereas that the BCpk, deviations are higher. On the other side with each distribution the BCP generates lower average deviation from the CCP. Finally a real case considering the distribution GP.

Cross-sectional studies are epidemiological design which can be considered as descriptive or analytical designs depending on the general objective. This is a quickly and economical design and allows to calculate the prevalence of a condition. Also, the relationship of temporality between the exposition and the outcome is being measured simultaneously on a unique period, not being possible to identify a directionality in the temporality. When there is an analytic objective, the association measure used is the Prevalence Ratio (PR), specially when the prevalence of the outcome is more or equal to 10% or the Odds Ratio (OR) when that prevalence is lower. To quantify this association different regression models like Binomial log or Poisson log can be used, including generalized lineal models. If the association measure is OR, the most common used model is the multiple logistic regression.
