The objective of this research was to determine if critical and creative thinking and learning strategies are related to each other in a sample of students from the four schools that make up the Mathematical Sciences Faculty of the National University of San Marcos. A correlational descriptive design was used with a sample of 300 students to whom two evaluation instruments were applied: the inventory of critical and creative thinking of Alberto Acevedo and Marcela Carrera and the independent learning inventory of Manuel Torres. These instruments were subjected to the corresponding statistical analyzes that determined that the tests are valid and reliable. The results indicate that there are signicant and positive correlations between critical and creative thinking and autonomous learning (r = 0.80) among the students in the sample.

Empowerment influences learning achievements in a sample of female students from the four schools that make up the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences of the National University of San Marcos. A causal correlational design was used, with a sample of 200 students, to whom the empowerment inventory of Hernández, J. and García, R. was applied, and for the learning achievements were taken as data, the final grades obtained in the academic semester 2017-II. This instrument was subjected to the respective analyzes that determined that the test is valid and reliable. The results obtained indicate that Empowerment influences the learning achievements of the students in the sample. The existence of correlations between each of the dimensions of Empowerment with Learning Achievements was also verified. Therefore, it is recommended to strengthen this tool.

The objective of this research was to establish the correlations between the Intellectual Skills and the Strategic Learning in a sample of students of General Studies from a Private University of Lima. The research design used is the non-experimental of a correlational type. A sample of 348 subjects was used, to whom the Inventory of Intellectual Skills of Rosario Lajo and the Inventory of Strategic Learning of Manuel Torres were applied. The statistical results obtained show the existence of significant and positive correlations between both variables (r = 0,77), which allowed the acceptance of the first research hypothesis. Moreover, the results show the existence of positive and significant relations of all the dimensions of the va-riables, intellectual skills and strategic learning; therefore, all the studied hypotheses were accepted.

The objective of this work is to study some properties and applications of the Schwartz space. Initially, the Fourier transform is used to demonstrate the transform of the derivative and derivative of the transform.
