In the last years, because of the variety of industrial applications of the tara`s fruit (the shell and the seeds can be processed to obtain a lot of products), the interest on cultivate tara using correct techniques is enhanced. This project of forestation with tara is carried out in Cajamarca Department (years 2008-2009), San Juan district, Cachilgon country house, which population has 40% of adults without instruction. They are dedicated to the foodstuffs agriculture and earn money with recolectation of the fruit of the tara, where the tara grows as a wild tree. To show to the population the facility of handling the agriculture of the tara and its economical profitability, it has being develop this pilot project of forestation with 1 546 tree of tara, which requires an initial investment of 12 243 peruvian soles, an annual referential cost of 4 720 peruvian soles and recover all the i...

Vinegar has been elaborated from apple juice by inmersed fermentation at room temperature. The process was developed in two stages, firstly, the alcoholic termentation was carried out using Saccharomyces Cerevísíae yeast, Ellipsoideus variety. Secondly, an acetic fermentation was carried out using acetobacter. The global yield of the process, based on row material usage was around 52%. The product obtained has an acidity of 6,8% in acetic acid and fulfill the market requirements.

This research work is the experimental design of a process for application-level pilot plant in the industrialization of the goose, aimed at developing nectar mix (mixture of goose with tuna) and confit of goose. In experiments development of nectar it has been determined that the mixture of improved organoleptic characteristics in which it made with a 20% Pear. Regarding the confit was used sucrose syrup from 30 to 75 ° Brix concentration being found that the optimum time for each dive is 24 hours.

Objective: To determine the feasibility of genetic identification in a group of newborns from a public hospital in Lima, Peru. Material and Method: Descriptive cross-sectional study, carried out by the National Registry of Identification and Civil Status of Peru, on live newborns and their mothers, from the Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz Hospital (Puente Piedra, Lima) during January. 2015. The samples were collected in FTA (Fast Technology for Analysis of nucleic acids) cards that allowed a direct analysis by PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) and capillary electrophoresis of 21 STR markers (Short Tandem Repeats), including the amelogenin marker for gender determination. The aim of the study was to determine the influence of oral habits more prevalent in the dental occlusion of infants who attended the dental clinic of San Marcos University. This is a descriptive and cross-section study in patients attending the Infant Clinic of the Child, in the 2010. The sample consisted in 50 infants who recorded the first plane of occlusion. The data collection was obtained through a survey to parents and subsequently performed clinical examination for registration of malocclusion in children. “Introduction: A high prevalence of advanced breast cancer (BC) is a common scenario in Latin America. In Peru, the frequency of BC at Stages III/IV is ≈50% despite implementation of a programme for breast cancer screening (BCS) along the country. We carried out a study to assess the feasibility and develop an instrument to evaluate the knowledge, barriers and perception about BCS in a nationwide pilot study in Peru among candidates for BCS. Methods: We conducted a systematic review of 2,558 reports indexed in PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Medline-Ovid and EMBASE, regarding to our study theme. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo describir la experiencia y el aporte del autor como jefe de obra (residente privado), en la primera etapa de estabilización del terreno correspondiente a la instalación de pilotes excavados durante la ejecución del proyecto de construcción de la Tienda Makro, ubicada en el distrito de Villa El Salvador en la ciudad de Lima. Los trabajos realizados en el año 2013, corresponden al mejoramiento y reforzamiento de la fundación sobre un terreno inestable, utilizando muros de contención, geomallas y pilotes excavados, para lo cual, se movilizaron miles de metros cúbicos de tierra en la ejecución. El trabajo desarrolla de forma explicativa la instalación de pilotes perforados, mencionando las contingencias ocurridas y las soluciones planteadas durante el desarrollo del proyecto.
