The tutoring of university students is very relevant for the achievement of engineering learning and personal factors are associated with satisfaction, establishing that the knowledge of these factors makes it possible to take measures that contribute to improve tutoring actions. The objective of the research was to establish the association of personal factors to satisfaction with tutoring in engineering students. The objective of the research was to determine the incidence of personal conditions on the cognitive distortions of persons deprived of liberty for crimes of violence against women via the hypothetical deductive method. The results showed the incidence of personal conditioning on the cognitive distortions of these individuals sanctioned for acts of violence against women. In conclusion, for the treatment of persons who have committed acts of violence against women in prisons, following investigations and the results of the studies carried out by the Ministry of Justice, the prison system must be adapted to the needs of the prison population.

The events that occur in education today have managed to make available to the students of the Faculty of Design a range of instruments and tools for the acquisition of new knowledge. However, the difficulty lies in the embedded traditional methodology of some teachers, who do not impart the execution of competencies in the students for their development in an environment that requires professionals capable of building solutions through research. These are induced by self-learning by students who need to carry out design projects aligned with current changes, and the requirements of a market by professionals capable of developing authentic projects that are developed on a scientific basis.

From the exploration of previous studies, theories and concepts involved, in the following sections of this review paper, it is intended to manifest, in a conceptual and analytical way, the theme related to self-regulation strategies in the educational framework, to metacognition and self-regulation strategies, to communicative competence and discursive competence in the educational framework, to discursive competence in the academic text and, finally, to self-regulation strategies and written discursive competence of university students.

A partir de la exploración de estudios previos, teorías y conceptos involucrados, en los siguientes acápites de este artículo de revisión, se pretende manifestar, de forma conceptual y analítica, la temática referida a las estrategias de autorregulación en el marco educativo, a la metacognición y las estrategias de autorregulación, a la competencia comunicativa y la competencia discursiva en el marco educativo, a la competencia discursiva en el texto académico y, finalmente, a las estrategias de autorregulación y la competencia discursiva escrita de discentes universitarios.

This research seeks to demonstrate the effects produced by the professional profile of the teacher and their competitive training of graduates of a university in Ecuador. The research method is transversal with a type of quantitative applied research, with a sample of 55 teachers and 132 graduates. Two surveys were developed and applied to measure the variables; Pearson's correlation coefficient was used to determine the degree and significance of relationship. Its objective was to explain the effect of Learning situated at the level of reading comprehension in students of the fourth grade of secondary school of the institution where the present study is carried out. The study paradigm was interpretive, the qualitative approach, type of interpretive research, action research design, interpretive method, with a study scenario of 8 fourth-grade students. The technique used was observation, the instruments used were the blog or field diary, the semi-structured interview that were validated. The results were that the application of situated learning improves the levels of reading comprehension, as well as in turn offers other benefits such as meaningful learning and reading habit.
