The purpose of this paper is to analyze the strategic process of a group of companies in the food and beverage sector of Carabobo State, Venezuela. To achieve it a non-experimental study was conducted with special emphasis on transectional descriptive design and an instrument was applied to a non probabilistic sample taken from eleven organizations of the food and beverage manufacturing industry in the Carabobo State, Venezuela. We concluded that in the group there is no clear trend or identification with respect to some of the schools of strategic thought, in particular, as regards to the strategic process; that is to say, there is not enough uniformity in the responses to identify which school of strategic thought (from the application of its premises) has a greater presence in some of the companies. The concept of strategy and strategy formation can be analyzed from different perspectives. Mintzberg (1990) has identified ten basic schools of thought in relation to this topic. The strategy is conceived as a process of vision, design, planning or positioning; as a process of knowledge or learning, subject to political, cultural or environmental influences, or more properly as a process focused on transformation. Over the years, information systems have come to play an increasingly strategic role in business, capable of supporting the formulation and implementation of strategies and, particularly, the reformulation of strategies. This paper offers a review of the literature on the subject and relates the information systems with the ten mentioned schools of strategy, allowing the discussion of the usefulness of the different types of information systems.

This research aimed to develop a model of playful strategies for the development of critical and creative thinking in 5-year-old children from the Educational Institution No. 284 of Bagua Grande, Amazonas region, Peru. The research was purposeful because the playful strategies model was formulated to develop these two thoughts. The data was collected through a test applied to 25 5-year-old children in the classroom and an interview guide for the teacher in charge of the school. As a result, it was found that more than 80% of the population presented a low level of critical and creative thinking in all its dimensions and that teachers do not use adequate strategies to promote these thoughts during the teaching-learning process. Therefore, it was concluded that playful strategies are valuable tools to develop critical and creative thinking in 5-year-old preschool children.

La investigación tuvo por objetivo la caracterización y análisis de la cadena productiva de la palta Hass en Perú, con el fin de identificar estrategias para su optimización sobre la base de la economía circular. Se empleó una metodología de diseño no experimental y descriptivo, validada por expertos del sector, que incluyó el análisis estructural de factores sectoriales, la identificación de variables críticas y la formulación de soluciones estratégicas mediante modelado estadístico de ecuaciones estructurales utilizando Python y R. The objective was to understand the training process in research as an academic practice, raising the need for strategies in the face of the weak habit of reading in training settings that allow us to respond to the crisis of interpretation of social problems. This reflection was raised from the phenomenological-hermeneutic method with a social-critical approach in a period of 2 years, training and accompanying 436 students with 145 proposals of formative research, collecting information through 5 semi-structured interviews with teachers and 50 student surveys. Therefore, this reflection is the starting point of a pedagogical proposal that promotes reading and critical reflection exercises. Consequently, the social sciences must formulate research routes that cross the curriculum, seeking in turn to guide and enhance the work of students in research procedures.

El objetivo e este trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre estrategias de enseñanza y desempeño académico en estudiantes del aula 8 de la Escuela de la Policía Nacional, Puente Piedra, Lima, 2017. La investigación realizada fue de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo no experimental, de diseño correlacional y transversal. The application of edible coatings obtainable from alternative biodegradable materials has gained attention as a promising treatment to prolong the shelf-life of fresh-cut vegetables. Thus, this work aimed to develop a biodegradable coating based on fruit and vegetable residues flour. Immersion coating strategy was studied on the quality of minimally fresh-cut carrots during refrigeration storage by means of weight loss, color variation, pH, titratable acidity and soluble solids content. Better performance was obtained for coated carrots, which exhibited a tendency to have lower whiteness index than uncoated counterparts and enhanced overall quality. Despite a drop in color saturation expressed by chroma values (varying from 59 to 46) was observed, color index presented a positive value for all samples (varying from 13 to 15) indicating orange color preservation throughout storage.
