The work raises the reflection of schools of positive parenting as pedagogical strategies from the scenarios of professional practices and establishes the possibility of expression of professional intervention, as a diverse process; where, training combines skill, theory and practice. This study seeks to describe the pedagogical processes using the mixed method in research. Data collection was given through 7 semi-structured interviews with fields of professional practice, 25 interviews with students in formation of the Social Work program, and the implementation of 2 methodological guides aimed at the general population and institutional officials in the municipalities of Soacha and Sibaté. Therefore, basing pedagogy on the social side is necessary to count different methods that allow making sense and purpose for professional intervention. The objective was to understand the training process in research as an academic practice, raising the need for strategies in the face of the weak habit of reading in training settings that allow us to respond to the crisis of interpretation of social problems. This reflection was raised from the phenomenological-hermeneutic method with a social-critical approach in a period of 2 years, training and accompanying 436 students with 145 proposals of formative research, collecting information through 5 semi-structured interviews with teachers and 50 student surveys. Therefore, this reflection is the starting point of a pedagogical proposal that promotes reading and critical reflection exercises. Consequently, the social sciences must formulate research routes that cross the curriculum, seeking in turn to guide and enhance the work of students in research procedures.

This article addresses the analysis of the results obtained from the exploratory research conducted during the academic training, which had as objective to distinguish how sociocultural transformations influence on roles changing and the exercise of the authority in families, from teachers’ professional perspective and parents belonging to Nuevo Compartir School from comuna 1 of Soacha Municipality. It was observed a transformation in parental authority that come from a historical evolution, in terms of the society’s behavior and the different perspectives that are immersed in the social role of each individual, breaking with the traditional paradigm of a patriarchal role, and thus giving way to new paradigms that are linked with social, technological, legal and ideological changes that foster a change in family roles and dynamics.
