Introduction: The World Health Organization (WHO) currently considers obesity as the most important 21st century epidemics, affecting every population group, and, alarmingly enough, it is affecting boys and girls. There are no official numbers in Peru with respect to this situation, but some studies reported rates of being overweight and obese as high as 10,0% and 5,6%, respectively.Objective: To improve health conditions in overweight/obese students in Barrick-Pierina mining company school, with an educational intervention promoting health lifestyles, promoting the ingestion of a balanced diet and increased physical activity. Introduction: High rates in anthropometric parameters such as excess weight, body fat, visceral fat, hypertension generate serious problems that affect the health of the general population. Objective: To identify the effects produced by the intervention program "integral diet and physical exercise" on anthropometric parameters and blood pressure in a community in Salvador de Bahia. Social and Poverty Reduction Programme Provided in Chilia and Huancaspata, Peru: A Comparative Study

The present research aimed to determine the relationship between the social program together and poverty reduction in the districts of Chilia and Huancaspata, Pataz-2022, the study is conducted with quantitative approach, non-experimental design, causal comparison, count with 90 users of both districts, through the application of the questionnaire for each of them, in order to obtain the program's acquisition rates and poverty level. The results, in the district of Chilia in terms of the social program focuses on a good level 72.2%; where 11.1% is located in regular and 61.1% high in poverty, and in the district of Huancaspata in 51.1% good; where 4.4% focus on regular and 46.7% high on poverty. the purpose of this research study was to determine whether implementing a motivation program could lead to a reduction in the rate of occupational accidents in the bakery plant of a manufacturing company based in Lima. The study followed a quasi-experimental approach and used a pretest/posttest design with a single group and a sample of 117 workers. The data collection methods included statistical data on work-related accidents, direct observations in the workplace, recording and monitoring of interactions, and a motivation questionnaire. The research results revealed that implementing the IPLEFOR motivation program—which spanned 21 months—led to a 100% reduction in the accident rate. Consequently, it led to a significant improvement in the occupational health and safety system.

Objective. In low- and middle-income countries, heart failure (HF) is the leading cause of death and disability. Materials and methods. A feasibility study was conducted to assess the fidelity, reach, and adoption of an educational program led by non-medical staff to improve outpatient care for patients hospitalized with HF in the local public health system. Results. Thirty patients were included, with a mean age of 55.3 years (63.3% male). A total of 97.3% of planned home visits and 90% of scheduled phone calls were completed. Counselling modules were delivered during 90.4% of home visits, with no significant challenges reported during implementation. To report the progress in Peru, since June 2019, in the implementation of the World Health Organization Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer using the CureAll framework, which can be replicated in low- and middle-income countries. Methods. A mixed method was used of participatory and documentary evaluation. The participatory evaluation included stakeholders from various government institutions, nonprofit organizations, and international partners. The documentary aspect consisted of a review of data on the regulatory environment, national projects, and interventions implemented. The article reviews the experiences of programs to promote renewable energy in Southeast Asian countries and proposes some learned lessons that can be useful in the context of COP 20 to promote renewable energy.The article analyzes the rates and mechanisms of promotion used in countries such as India, Indonesia and Vietnam, that are led by the World Bank. These mechanisms are used as a legal basis that proposes successful tested alternatives and its usefulness is that renewable energies can be implemented within the current legal structure of international environmental law.In conclusion, it is the correct timing for the COP 20 to secure funds and international legal mechanisms that promote sustainable energy infrastructure.

El presente artículo revisa las experiencias de programas de promoción de energías renovables en países del sudeste asiático a fin de proponer algunas lecciones aprendidas que puedan ser útiles en el contexto de la Vigésima Conferencia de las Partes de la Convención Marco de las Naciones Unidas sobre el Cambio Climático (COP 20) para la promoción de las energías renovables. Asimismo, revisa las tarifas y mecanismos de promoción utilizados en India, Indonesia y Vietnam, impulsados por el Banco Mundial, como una base para proponer alternativas legales ya probadas. Su utilidad es que las energías renovables pueden ser implementadas dentro de la estructura legal actual del Derecho Ambiental Internacional, la COP 20 es el momento de asegurar fondos y mecanismos jurídicos internacionales que promueven una infraestructura energética sostenible.

Objetivo: Determinar el impacto del Sistema Integral de Salud sobre la tasa de mortalidad materna en el Perú del año 2002 al 2006. Materiales y métodos: Estudio observacional, descriptivo, correlacional, utilizando la base de datos del Ministerio de Salud y del Sistema Integral de Salud (SIS), del año 2002 al 2006 sobre los indicadores de mortalidad materna en el Perú. Los datos se procesaron empleando el programa estadístico SPSS versión 2005.
