The primary objective of the research was to determine the extent to which the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program changes the study habits in the academic performance of students in the last years of secondary school. Study habits such as study techniques, organizational skills, exam-preparation techniques, and techniques used in class, as well as students’ level of distractibility, were analyzed and compared. The study used a longitudinal design with three time points and a control group. The study started with a sample of 73 students; however, due to experimental mortality, the work was performed with 50 students, of which 29 made up the control group and 21 the experimental group. Objective: To determine the influence of a brief stress reduction program in health workers of the National Maternal and Perinatal Institute during the COVID-19 pandemic. Materials and Methods: This research corresponds to a quasi-experimental study, which consist of the elaboration and application of a brief stress reduction program in workers of the Puericulture area of the INMP. The population consisted of 45 workers, 30 of whom complied with the inclusion criteria for the pilot study, from which a sample of 15 participants was distributed, by convenience, for the experimental group and 15 for the control group. We report the results of an experimental study with two randomized groups pre and post-test, which seeks to determine the effects of the implementation of an interactive program on the reading comprehension of children in 5th grade in a rural area of the province of Yungay in the Department of Ancash. The analysis of data collected through the Reading Comprehension Test of Linguistic Complexity Progressive (CLP) Alliende, adapted by Delgado and processed with SPSS v. 18, to conclude that the interactive reader used in the experimental group shows a significant increase in reading comprehension scores compared with those obtained by the control group.

En los últimos años, como parte del proceso de internacionalización de la educación superior, se observó un crecimiento en la oferta de programas para estudiantes extranjeros. Entre ellos, se encuentran los programas de study abroad y muchos de ellos incluyen un curso o clase para iniciar o avanzar en el aprendizaje del idioma local, el español en el caso del Perú. En este artículo, se hace una referencia breve a la historia de estos programas y a cuáles son las diferencias entre ellos, cuáles son los tipos de programa que se ofrecen en el Perú, y a cuestiones de oferta y demanda frente a la enseñanza de español para extranjeros. Finalizamos con una observación preliminar sobre las posibilidades del mercado e indicamos cómo la aparición de la pandemia global ocasionada por la COVID-19 ha afectado a este tipo de programa.

The social programs to combat poverty have been under permanent observation both by the beneficiaries of these programs and by the criticism they received for the political use that was given to them. Two major issues aroused interest in the study of these programs. First, because, despite the investment from the public treasury and the contributions from international cooperation for the strategy to combat poverty, the problems that persisted showed the poor focus of the investment, the loss of objectives, the leaking of aid and the dispersion of the programs, in addition to the serious problems of administration of the resources. Second, because reelectionist political campaigns were associated with the intensification and expansion of food support for urban and rural populations.

The document is structured as follows. Section 2 summarizes the geographic expansion of JUNTOS between its introduction in 2005 to 2017, the latest date for which we have information at the time of writing this report. Section 3 describes the main sources of information used for this analysis, including legislative documents pertaining to this program. Section 4 describes the initial eligibility rule and its changes over time based on publicly available information. When appropriate and relevant, we provide a description of the main limitations found in the available information. Section 5 explains the additional assumptions required to replicate the rule and presents the results of the replication exercise. We hope that this report will be useful to the community of scholars and practitioners interested in CCTs generally and JUNTOS specifically.

The research provides knowledge of a relevant indicator to ensure educational quality in the master's programs from the Faculty of Education of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM), aiming to establish the level of global student satisfaction and by dimensions, using for its study the quantitative approach, non-experimental design, transversal and descriptive. In the accidental non-probabilistic sample, 217 students participated. The objective of the research was to determine the effect of the application of the DEPREPCEP Program in the learning of basic gymnastics in girls of the Puno 2009 Initial Educational Institution. The methodology corresponds to an experimental-level study of the application type, with a design of pre and post test of a single group. The study population was of 60 girls of 5 years and the sample of 30. For the data analysis, percentage statistics were applied and for the verification of the hypothesis the Student T statistical test. Los centros de enseñanza superior afrontan, de modo constante, nuevos retos y exigencias. Los profesionales requieren una formación cada vez más especializada, pero sin dejar de lado aspectos que la hagan integral, pues una visión holística es fundamental en los tiempos que corren. La rigurosidad académica debe ser adecuada y compatible con las demás obligaciones de un profesional que también estudia. Hoy en día, saber liderar y trabajar en equipo son requisitos necesarios para que alguien pueda consolidarse y crecer en el ámbito laboral. El proceso de diagnóstico de un cáncer puede generar diversas afectaciones a los pacientes y sus familiares; sin embargo, existen factores psicosociales que pueden llegar a afectar aún más dicho proceso. El objetivo es conocer las necesidades psicosociales de mujeres con cáncer de mama desde su experiencia en el proceso de diagnóstico, para lo cual se diseñó un estudio cualitativo con una perspectiva fenomenológica. Se entrevistaron a once mujeres con diagnóstico de cáncer de mama, mediante entrevistas semiestructuradas, las cuales fueron grabadas en audio para transcribirlas y realizar el análisis. El objetivo del presente estudio fue demostrar que la aplicación de un programa ambiental, sobre adaptación y mitigación del calentamiento global, mejora la conciencia ambiental de los alumnos de educación secundaria en la Institución Educativa Bilingüe N° 00649 del distrito de Awajún, provincia de Rioja, 2017. La presente investigación se desarrolló con la finalidad de demostrar que el programa psicopedagógico AFECOGMET desarrolla el aprendizaje autónomo en los estudiantes de la Facultad de Educación y Humanidades de la sede Rioja de la UNSM-T, durante el año 2017.
