This study proposes a model of experiential intervention that allows High School students to self-regulate their behavior for the adequate personal development in the adolescence. The methodology of the research was mixed. Quantitative and qualitative data were collected, analyzed and linked to obtaining complementary information on the phenomenon under study. We used the quasi-experimental design with pre and posttest design when working with intact groups: control and experimental group. This methodology allows the treatment of the phenomenon from a holistic perspective, by detecting basic and relevant elements in different situations, studying the behaviors of students when confronted with moral situations of conflict with values, and in circumstances that show self-regulation of the behavior to determine the decision or disposition of the adolescents in a rational and autonomous way....

In recent years, the problems of social inequality and urban disorder have intensified due to the sectorization of the city after a process of unequal urban modernization, making people feel differences in spaces of social integration, urban facilities and habitability, which evokes a main consequence of urban deficit that places people in a situation of precariousness in multiple dimensions in living conditions and citizen insecurity, which leads to delimiting urban areas, encouraging the development of intervention programs of a socio-urban nature. The research is framed in SDG-11.3 with a critical analysis of Compact Systems Thinking and Dialogue-Debate with multidisciplinary specialists. It constitutes a basic substantive research, with a mixed approach, at a descriptive-explanatory level; Non-experimental cross-sectional design. The objective of this paper was to analyze, from the taxonomy of Ribes and López (1985), the contents of the teaching of mathematical fractions in basic education. Based on the expected learning proposed in the plans to work on fractions, in addition to doing a review of the book of mathematical challenges to know the exercises that students have to do when working with the topic of fractions. After the review, the contents were classified according to the functional taxonomy. Starting from the idea that mathematics should be worked from substitute levels, having its own conventional means of contact, it was intended to find activities that promote such level of functional detachment. As main results it was found that the activities that promote books are not according to the expected learning outlined in the plans and programs; in addition to the fact that the activities in the textboo...

Linguistic barriers in education?: the influence of the language in school desertion. The present work has as its objective to evaluate the effect of having a native language different than Spanish over the probability of abandoning basic schooling. For that purpose a proportional risk duration model (Cox) and an accelerated fail time model are used, using information from 2008 and 2009 ENAHO, as well as 2007 Censo Escolar. In both models we find a positive effect over the probability of leaving primary studies when having Quechua as a native language. The results, for the case of the Quechua speakers, can show part of the effectiveness of the intercultural and bilingual education program (programa de Educación Intercultural Bilingüe or EIB in Spanish) for the reduction of inequality in the process of human capital accumulation.
