Desde que se inició el proceso de integración suramericano en el año de 1993 han transcurrido tres etapas: 1993-1999, 2000-2004, 2005-2007 y una cuarta etapa se encuentra en pleno desenvolvimiento. El proceso se inicia con el lanzamiento de la iniciativa por Brasil, sigue con la creación de la Comunidad Sudamericana de Naciones-CSN, el diseño de sus bases, el cambio de nombre por Unión de Naciones Suramericanas-UNASUR y, finalmente, la elaboración y aprobación del tratado constitutivo. La fundación-construcción de la CSN-UNASUR es el hecho histórico más importante ocurrido en el proceso de integración regional de ALC, significa empezar a dejar atrás las subregiones para pasar a la construcción de un mesosistema de integración regional, mucho más cerca de la imaginada y proyectada integración regional de toda ALC.

Studying grit's measurement helps to understand this psychological phenomenon associated with success. Grit-S structures of one-factor and two-factor have been reported in the literature, but there is a lack of reports based on Item Response Theory (IRT). Therefore, two objectives were proposed: to determine the factorial structure of the Spanish version of the Grit-S and explore the instrument through a Multidimentional Item Response Theory (MIRT) analysis. A nonprobabilistic sample of 899 subjects (41.0% female) was evaluated. The 8 items grit scale was used. The Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) showed that the two-factor model obtained a good fit (CFI = 0.97, TLI = 0.95, RMSEA [90%CI] = 0.08 [0.07, 0.10]) unlike the one-dimensional model. Existe una imperiosa necesidad de evaluar los instrumentos de procrastinación actuales, con especial atención a la Escala de Procrastinación Académica (EPA), ampliamente utilizada en Latinoamérica, cuya dimensionalidad ha experimentado variaciones constantes en la literatura. Para ello se aplicó la EPA a 1308 estudiantes universitarios siguiendo un muestreo no probabilístico. Inicialmente, se observó que el ítem 4 reflejaba una actividad cotidiana más que comportamientos directos de procrastinación. Posteriormente, se exploraron diversas variaciones de la EPA, conforme a la literatura y las propuestas del presente estudio. This study aimed to describe morphological and histological characteristics of ovaries of two genetic groups of guinea pigs from Latin America. Ovaries from 20 improved and 20 native guinea pigs were collected after slaughtering. One ovary from each animal was weighed, measured, counted for visible follicles on the ovarian surface, and used for subsequent oocyte collection by the slicing method. Contralateral ovaries were used to prepare histological sections and quantify follicles. Body and ovary weight and ovary length were significantly greater in improved than in native guinea pigs (p<0.01). El estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar el efecto del suero fetal bovino (FCS) agregado al medio de cultivo los días 5 a 7 después de la fertilización in vitro sobre la producción y posterior criotolerancia de blastocistos de vaquillonas criollas ecuatorianas. Se recolectaron complejos cúmulo-ovocitos (COCs) inmaduros mediante aspiración intravaginal guiada por ultrasonido (OPU) de 10 vaquillonas criollas y de ovarios de matadero en ocho sesiones. Los COCs se sometieron a maduración in vitro (MIV), fecundación (FIV) y cultivo (IVC). Oocyte-cumulus cell complexes (COCs) were obtained from creole cows by ovum pick up (OPU) and by follicular aspiration from abattoir ovaries (AO). From the pool of oocytes obtained from both sources, those with homogenous cytoplasm and three or more compact layers of cluster cells were selected. Se reconoce la necesidad de sintetizar la evidencia reciente sobre la eficacia de los programas de mindfulness en la reducción del burnout en trabajadores. Por ello, esta revisión sistemática tuvo como objetivo analizar la efectividad de estas intervenciones en la población laboral activa (trabajadores). Se realizó una búsqueda avanzada en las bases de datos PubMed y Scopu, siguiendo las directrices de Preferred Reporting Item for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA 2020). A network psychometric model was used to determine internal structure, reliability, and cross-country invariance. The results indicate that the GIS items were grouped into a single network structure through Exploratory Graph Analysis. Reliability was estimated by structural consistency, and it was found that when replicating the network structure within an empirical dimension, a single network structure was consistently obtained, and all items remained stable. The Amazonian shrub Myrciaria dubia (camu-camu) produces vitamin C-rich fruits of growing commercial interest. However, sustainable utilization requires assessment and protection of the genetic diversity of the available germplasm. This study aimed to develop and apply microsatellite markers to assess genetic diversity and construct a core collection of M. dubia germplasm from the Peruvian Amazon. Sixteen polymorphic microsatellite loci were developed using an enrichment approach.
