Purpose. This study investigates whether evaluation using artificial intelligence (AI) with a customized GPT model can be comparable to, or complementary to, human evaluation in graphic design projects created by master's degree students. Methodology. A total of 180 logos were evaluated over six years using a 10-item Likert scale rubric. Each project received a double assessment, one by human experts and one by AI. Results and Conclusions. The results show agreement in five categories between human evaluators and AI (e.g., originality, relevance) while, in another five categories (e.g., balance, design principles), AI tended to overvalue the works when compared to human assessment. We show the results of the teaching-learning experience of the Math 'Level 0' course given to the freshers at UPC who do not pass the Math 'Level Exam'. The work was based on the feedback of the learning process and it was done at the same time that the university 'methodology of competencies' was being applied. The difference was based on the feedback given on each class based on evaluations that measured their cognitive and 'procedural knowledge'(part calculus and modelling of everyday situations). Style transfer is a natural language processing generation task, it consists of substituting one given writing style for another one. In this work, we seek to perform informal-to-formal style transfers in the English language by using a style transfer model that takes advantage of the GPT-2. This process is shown in our web interface where the user input a informal message by text or voice. Our target audience are students and professionals in the need to improve the quality of their work by formalizing their texts. The introduction of artificial intelligence methods and techniques in the construction industry has fostered innovation and constant improvement in the automation of monitoring and control processes at construction sites, although there are areas where more studies still need to be conducted. This paper proposes a method to determine the criticality of cracks in concrete samples. The proposed method uses a previously trained YOLOv4 neural network to identify concrete cracks. Then, the region of interest, determined by the bounding box resulting from the neural network model classification, is extracted. Finally, the extracted image is converted to negative grayscale to quantify the number of white pixels above a certain threshold, automatically allowing the system to characterize the fracture’s extent and criticality. Previous research warns about the limitations that some university teachers in Ibero-America have in relation to digital research competencies. The objective of this research was to analyze the research competencies from the university teacher's self-perception, contrasted with the classroom evaluation. The study had a qualitative approach. Interviews were conducted via the Zoom virtual platform, and recordings (of an average of 4 h each) of classes delivered by 10 teachers with an average age of 58 years old, in charge of scientific research courses at the postgraduate level in Peruvian universities were analyzed. The instruments used included an in-depth interview guide and a checklist. Objective: To verify the effectiveness of the technological resource Aula Digital (Digital lassroom) in the development of the competency “reading various types of texts” in boys and girls of the 4th cycle at Institución Educativa N.º 32140 Antonio Brack Egg in Ambo (Peru), 2022. Methods: This study followed a quantitative approach and employed a quasiexperimental design. The population consisted of 54 students from the educational institution. A checklist was used to evaluate the pretest and posttest, and Student’s t-test was applied for statistical analysis.
