The study aimed to evaluate the superovulatory response and conception rate byapplying the technique of non-surgical embryo transfer in dairy cows of a commercialfarm in the Lima milkshed. Eight donor cows were used and distributed in two workingyears. Donors were synchronized with estrogens, progestagens and luteolitic agents,superovulated with 400 mg of FSH, and inseminated with two doses of frozen semen. Therecipient animals (n=28) were also distributed in two years. The Pre-synch protocol wasused for estrus synchronization in the first year and the CIDR-synch protocol in thesecond year. Hygromycin A (HygA) binds to the large ribosomal subunit and inhibits its peptidyl transferase (PT) activity. The presented structural and biochemical data indicate that HygA does not interfere with the initial binding of aminoacyl-tRNA to the A site, but prevents its subsequent adjustment such that it fails to act as a substrate in the PT reaction. Structurally we demonstrate that HygA binds within the peptidyl transferase center (PTC) and induces a unique conformation. Specifically in its ribosomal binding site HygA would overlap and clash with aminoacyl-A76 ribose moiety and, therefore, its primary mode of action involves sterically restricting access of the incoming aminoacyl-tRNA to the PTC.

El estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar la respuesta superovulatoria y la tasa de concepción al aplicar la técnica no quirúrgica de transferencia de embriones en vacas lecheras de un establo comercial de la cuenca de Lima. Se utilizaron ocho vacas donadoras, distribuidas en dos años de trabajo. Estas fueron sincronizadas con estrógenos, progestágenos y agentes luteolíticos, superovuladas con 400 mg de FSHe inseminadas con dos dosis de semen congelado. In the research it was possible to obtain a symbiotic drink, starting from whey, which was subjected to a pasteurization followed by a protein separation using the isoelectric point of the serum, thus precipitating the β - lactoglobulin and separating it by transfer, using two types of Ferments 1. Sweet cucumber (Solanum muricatum) sect. Basarthrum is a neglected horticultural crop native to the Andean region. It is naturally distributed very close to other two Solanum crops of high importance, potatoes, and tomatoes. To date, molecular tools for this crop remain undetermined. In this study, the complete sweet cucumber chloroplast (cp) genome was obtained and compared with seven Solanaceae species. The cp genome of S. muricatum was 155,681 bp in length and included a large single copy (LSC) region of 86,182 bp and a small single-copy (SSC) region of 18,360 bp, separated by a pair of inverted repeats (IR) regions of 25,568 bp. The population of Peruvian creole cattle (PCC) is decreasing mainly due to the introduction of more productive breeds in recent years. We report the complete mitochondrial genome sequence of a PCC bull for the first time. This genome was 16,339 bp in length with the base composition 31.43% A, 28.64% T, 26.81% C, and 13.12% G. It contained 13 protein-coding genes, 2 ribosomal RNA genes, 22 transfer RNA genes and a control region. Among the 37 genes, 28 were positioned on the H-strand and 9 were positioned on the L-strand. The most frequently used codons were CUA (Leucine), AUA (Isoleucine), AUU (Isoleucine), AUC (Isoleucine) and ACA (Threonine). The objective of this study was to determine the prevalence of reactive infectious markers at the Centro Hemodador Regional de Loreto from november 2023 to december 2024. A quantitative, descriptive, and retrospective approach was applied. Data from 7,767 donors were analyzed, who underwent screening with infectious markers using the chemiluminescence technique, allowing for a detailed analysis of the prevalence and distribution of these agents in the donor population. Seven mandatory markers in blood banks were evaluated, and for the purposes of the study, sociodemographic variables such as age, sex, marital status, origin, ABO group, and Rh factor were categorized. Introducción: El raquitismo hipofosfatémico ligado al X (RHLX) es el tipo hereditario más frecuente de raquitismo. Ocurre por una mutación en el gen PHEX localizado en el cromosoma 22, que conlleva a un aumento del factor de crecimiento de fibroblastos 23 (FGF-23), cuya función radica en inhibir la reabsorción de fósforo a nivel renal. Por ello, esta patología se caracteriza por una pérdida excesiva de fósforo, lo que ocasiona manifestaciones clínicas que afectan sobre todo región craneal, deformidad de miembros y lesiones dentarias.
