Depression is a mood disorder prevalent in our country that increases vulnerability to suffer affective disorders in adulthood when it appears in childhood or adolescence, with clear implications for the psychosocial functioning. The study has been subjected to the analysis of the variables early maladaptive schemas and alcohol consumption by career, health sciences and engineering in a sample of 510 university students, who were given a socio-demographic data sheet, the Young Schema Questionnaire composed of 18 schemes and the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT).It was found that there is a significant and positive correlation between early maladaptive schemas, emotional deprivation, insufficient self-control and recognition with alcohol consumption. In health sciences, the risk-taking group predominates the autosacrifice scheme and in engineering the schemes of Dependence / incompetence and subjugation. Para ello se trabajó con una muestra de 80 estudiantes, agrupados en 4 conjuntos, con 20 estudiantes por grupo. The main objective of this present study is the construction, validation and commissionig of a module of recuperative action of deficiency in reading comprehension skills in university students.

The correlative coefficients evaluated between the total and partial scores on an elaborative processing of information skills test and the averages notes corresponding to four academic semesters from a students sample of San Marcos University's diverse faculties, allow us to sustain, according to the hypotesis stated, that those skills have an apreciable predictive power of succes in university studies, specially in humanity area. The survey included a comparison betwen the reported correlation and the located, on the same sample, between scores on the admision university test and the averages notes. The result shows in general, that the prosecution of the information test, have a larger predictive power than the admision test.

Mycobacterium tuberculosis nicotinamidase-pyrazinamidase (PZAse) is a metalloenzyme that catalyzes conversion of nicotinamide-pyrazinamide to nicotinic acid-pyrazinoic acid. This study investigated whether a metallochaperone is required for optimal PZAse activity. M. tuberculosis and Escherichia coli PZAses (PZAse-MT and PZAse-EC, respectively) were inactivated by metal depletion (giving PZAse-MT–Apo and PZAse-EC–Apo). Reactivation with the E. coli metallochaperone ZnuA or Rv2059 (the M. tuberculosis analog) was measured. This was repeated following proteolytic and thermal treatment of ZnuA and Rv2059. The CDC1551 M. tuberculosis reference strain had the Rv2059 coding gene knocked out, and PZA susceptibility and the pyrazinoic acid (POA) efflux rate were measured.
