Reflective praxis is a relevant instrument for permanent innovation in the training process. Strengthening the ability to ask questions and solve pedagogical problems, using research as a tool for reflecting on one’s ownwork, would be a contribution to the comprehensive approach to changes in the teaching practices of law professors. We propose, therefore, to highlight the value of the creation of a research culture of the teaching profession itself and to present a strategy, in broad strokes, for the implementation of a reflective praxis. Teaching practice in legal training is structured in a pedagogical, disciplinary, evaluative and curricular framework in relation to the context in which it occurs and the beliefs and visions of the teacher who executes it. In addition, it is the product of the conception that teachers have about what law is and can be formalistic, critical-real...

It is proposed as qualitative research where the case is the analysis of student portfolios of the Management of Specific Projects course of the Interculturality Module (Minorkult). The tool being studied, also the main strategy for the generation of data, was the student portfolio and the analytical procedure consisted of a hermeneutic analysis of thematic contents. As a result, it is worth noting that, by opting for the portfolio, the faculty has strengthened the voice and visibility of the students, as well as their autonomy in the learning process, and has generated reflective processes within ...

The improvement of teaching demands a constant analysis, reflection and criticism of the practices developed by teachers; in this sense, the objective of this article is to identify which categories should be considered when analyzing the teaching practice of university professors, as well as the aspects that are addressed from the literature when studying the processes of teaching reflection; for this, it is necessary to start from the basis of how people reach knowledge, our thinking structures, the ways in which we learn, how we reflect on our teaching practices, and the models that we create and consolidate to develop our practices.   Currently, in various fields, the demonstration of soft skills by individuals is highly valued, which is why university training processes must aim to enhance these skills among students. In this regard, a cross-sectional analytical study was developed under a holistic approach, aiming to analyze the alignment between university teaching practices and the promotion of students' soft skills. A survey-type instrument was created to capture students' perceptions regarding this relationship. The validation process of the instrument, which was completed by 1,677 participants from various undergraduate programs at a university center in western Mexico, is presented. The content validity index obtained from expert judges was 0.837, while Cronbach's alpha was 0.907. Bartlett’s test of sphericity and the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) measure of sampling adequacy were applied for exploratory facto...

ICT and digitization are transforming higher education, but one aspect that has been little addressed is student academic stress in this context. The objective of this research was to explore the relationship between teaching practices and academic stress in virtual learning environments. A quantitative study based on structural equation modeling was conducted using 6605 students from a public university in Lima. Two scales were applied and validated to assess specific dimensions of teaching practices and levels of academic stress. The scales demonstrated robust psychometric properties. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis allowed the identification of key underlying factors and the validation of the proposed theoretical model. Findings reveal indirect negative influences between teaching practices and academic stress. External factors like overload, distractions, and technologic...
