ICT and digitization are transforming higher education, but one aspect that has been little addressed is student academic stress in this context. The objective of this research was to explore the relationship between teaching practices and academic stress in virtual learning environments. A quantitative study based on structural equation modeling was conducted using 6605 students from a public university in Lima. Two scales were applied and validated to assess specific dimensions of teaching practices and levels of academic stress. The scales demonstrated robust psychometric properties. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis allowed the identification of key underlying factors and the validation of the proposed theoretical model. This research was carried out to design tutorials on the care of undeveloped social skills of university students, through which they express their needs, feelings, preferences, opinions and rights, respecting others and as a consequence self-reinforcement is observed and the probability of obtaining external reinforcement is maximized. The study was approached from the interpretive paradigm, qualitative approach, the projective - holistic method as a systematic process. Diagnostic information was collected from students and tutors, through interviews and focus groups, focused on behavioral, personal and situational skills. From all of this, categories and subcategories were identified that allowed choosing strategies to meet the needs. El síndrome de burnout es un problema de salud ocupacional relacionado a variables organizacionales, como el clima laboral, desempeño, productividad y otros. Objetivo: Analizar la relación funcional entre el clima laboral y el síndrome de burnout, en los profesores de la Universidad Nacional Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo (UNASAM). Método: Estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo correlacional y transversal. El muestreo fue estratificado con afijación proporcional a las 11 facultades de la universidad, conformada por 206 profesores, varones (79,6%) y mujeres (20,4%), nombrados (80,1%) y contratados (19,9%). The purpose of the study was to compare the presence of job burnout on teachers of the School of Education and Electronic Engineering from a Public University of Peru. This research study’s objective is to determine the predominant dimension in the emotional quotient of the Business Management and Administration students of a private university of Peru. The research was substantive, non-experimental, descriptive- explanatory and cross-sectional. The instrument used to evaluate the variable was the of Emotional Quotient questionnaire (Cooper & Sawaf, 1997), which is composed of 262 questions, and it was applied on a sample of 86 university students. The results show that the values and beliefs dimension (B = 1.814) has a higher coefficient and, thus, contributes more to the emotional quotient of the students analyzed. This dominant part of the results of the dimension presented an odds ratio (Exp(B)) = 6.134, which shows that this is a dimension of risk, which would lead a student to have 6.134 times greater possibility of presenting low levels of...

Objective: To estimate the functional relationships between burnout and job satisfaction in health professionals of two hospitals in Peru. Materials and methods: A quantitative, observational, correlational and cross-sectional research was carried out. Out of a study population of 620 health professionals, 177 (physicians, odontologists, pharmacists, psychologists, nurses, obstetricians, medical technologists, nutritionists and social workers) were interviewed. The Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) and the Job Satisfaction Scale (SL-SPC) were used as measuring instruments, showing adequate psychometric properties. Results: The high-burnout prevalence rate (TP) was 33.3 %. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar el potencial turístico del distrito de Colcamar, ubicado en el departamento de Amazonas, Perú. La investigación fue descriptiva mediante aplicación de encuestas, organización de talleres y de inspecciones oculares mediante salidas de campo. Se encuestaron a 484 personas en el distrito de Colcamar y cinco de sus anexos. Se realizaron seis talleres participativos con pobladores locales y actores involucrados con el turismo local como autoridades y la Asociación de Turismo ASOTUR. Los principales resultados indicaron que la mayoría de encuestados creen que Colcamar sí puede ser un destino turístico de interés, cuyos principales atractivos son sus sitios arqueológicos, sus paisajes, sus bosques y sus fiestas tradicionales.
