This study aims to describe how the implementation of the 5S methodology contributes to the development of a quality culture in regular basic education institutions in Peru. A qualitative, non-experimental, and descriptive research design was employed, using semi-structured interviews conducted with informed consent. The sample consisted of four educational institutions, selected to explore perceptions regarding the benefits of implementation. The findings revealed a lack of formal planning in the implementation process, which was typically initiated by a teacher or principal and carried out with trained student leaders. Reported benefits include improvements in the classroom environment, communication spaces, waste reduction, and student performance—factors that collectively foster a culture of quality.

In the present we expose the results of the study about burnout syndrome incidence in a sample of 233 educators (127 male and 106 female) with an age range among 20 and 65 years old, who work in public and private schools in Arequipa City. The Maslach Burnout Inventory for Educators was applied and the results show that 93,7% of male educators has a moderate level of burnout and 6,3% has a severe level, meantime 91,5% of female teachers has a moderate level and 7,5% has a severe level of burnout. Major percentage of male teachers has higher punctuations in exhaustion, cynicism and inefficacy; than female educators. Moreover, we found significant relations (p<,000) among type of educative administration and cynicism and inefficacy. As conclusion, male teachers are more severe affected by burnout syndrome than female teachers, who dedicate to teach students in basic education level

Objective. To determine the impact of having Regular Basic Education (EBR) studies on the  condition of being poor in the population of the Huánuco region (Peru), for the period 2010-2020. Methods. The research was applied, adopted an explanatory level and a non-experimental design. Human capital theory and data from the National Household Survey were used as a theoretical basis for the estimation of a probit model. Results. It was found that people with secondary education are less likely to be poor. In particular, it was found that the probability of being monetarily poor of a person with initial, primary and secondary education decreases by 0.11 pp, 2.19 pp and 3.60 pp, respectively. Conclusions. It is concluded that having a higher level of RBS education leads to a greater decrease in the probability of being poor from the monetary approach to poverty.

The interest in educational improvement has led to rethinking the support actions in an institution by managers. In this way, the purpose of the study focused on identifying the influence of accompaniment on teaching work performance aimed at the innovation of educational practice. The methodology used was quantitative, basic correlational and it was possible to count on the participation of teachers from a state school who were surveyed without any inconvenience using two questionnaires. The results showed acceptable high levels in the two variables, however, the interpersonal dimension has shown significance above the others. It was possible to conclude, on the relevance of having an action plan to carry out support activities and having responsible people and openness towards others.

The evaluation from its multiple models starts from being an essential component in any teaching process. This article aimed to carry out a review on the state of the art of formative assessment with a view from its various strategies in regular basic education in students of regular basic education. A documentary review was carried out in the Scopus, Web of Science, Scielo and Redalyc databases, using selection and exclusion criteria. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between social skills and general self-efficacy in adolescent students of the VII cycle of regular state basic education, from Cerro de Pasco. The research was non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational in scope, with a sample of 353 students between 14 and 17 years old, belonging to the VII cycle of two secondary national educational institutions in Cerro de Pasco. The Social Skills Scale (EHS) and the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSS) were used. The results indicate that social skills are positively and significantly related to general self-efficacy (r = 0.264, p < 0.01). Therefore, it can be said that the better the development of social skills in the adolescent, the greater the general self-efficacy.

The research aimed to determine the correlation between collaborative teaching work and pedagogical management in educational institutions in El Agustino district, Lima. The analysis of the variables was conducted under a quantitative, non-experimental approach, with a cross-sectional correlational design. The study involved 143 teachers working in public educational institutions in the district at secondary (45.45%), primary (20.28%), and initial (34.27%) levels. Data collection was carried out using the survey technique, and three questionnaires were developed: sociodemographic, on collaborative teaching work with a reliability of (>0.91), and on pedagogical management with a reliability of (>0.80), each validated by expert judgment. Therefore, the present study aims to: 1) compare the scores obtained in relation to the PS variable between students aged 6 to 11 with ASD and their peers with neurotypical development in Metropolitan Lima; and 2) establish the PS profile of the included students with ASD. La presente investigación parte de la noción de “crisis de las humanidades” propuesta por Martha Nussbaum (2010), quien denuncia la decadencia de la educación a nivel mundial. A partir de ahí, este artículo indaga por el nivel de formación humanística de estudiantes de secundaria de dos colegios peruanos. El diseño utilizado en el estudio fue cuantitativo descriptivo transversal. La muestra se compuso de 350 estudiantes del sétimo ciclo de Educación Básica Regular de dos centros educativos ubicados en el mismo distrito. Los resultados evidencian que el nivel de formación humanística alcanzado por los estudiantes es, predominantemente, deficiente. Se concluye que urgen estudios que se centren en investigar sobre estrategias didácticas que permitan el desarrollo de la formación humanística en las aulas escolares.
