Sumario:The interest in educational improvement has led to rethinking the support actions in an institution by managers. In this way, the purpose of the study focused on identifying the influence of accompaniment on teaching work performance aimed at the innovation of educational practice. The methodology used was quantitative, basic correlational and it was possible to count on the participation of teachers from a state school who were surveyed without any inconvenience using two questionnaires. The results showed acceptable high levels in the two variables, however, the interpersonal dimension has shown significance above the others. It was possible to conclude, on the relevance of having an action plan to carry out support activities and having responsible people and openness towards others.
