The methodology used was quantitative, basic correlational and it was possible to count on the participation of teachers from a state school who were surveyed without any inconvenience using two questionnaires. The results showed acceptable high levels in the two variables, however, the interpersonal dimension has shown significance above the others. It was possible to conclude, on the relevance of having an action plan to carry out support activities and having responsible people and openness towards others.El interés por la mejora educativa ha conllevado a repensar las acciones de acompañamiento en una institución por parte de los directivos. De esta manera, el propósito del estudio se enfocó en identificar la influencia del acompañamiento en el desempeño laboral docente direccionado en la innovación de la práctica educacional. La metodología utilizada fue cuantitativa, básica correlacional y se pudo contar con la participación de los docentes de una escuela estatal quienes fueron encuestados sin ningún inconveniente mediante dos cuestionarios. Los resultados evidenciaron niveles altos aceptables en las dos variables, sin embargo, la dimensión interpersonal ha mostrado significancia por encima de las demás.
