This article emerges do the necessity of relocate the relations between science, technological development and the own research. In our country, particularly in the public universities, psychology has oriented its action to the field of technology and the own research. It is ascertained that the transition of the development of scientific psychology has associated to the development of the psychology in the field of professional implementation using for that the own technology of models of intervention, from the clinical, educational or social and organizational field. Nevertheless, it is also recognizable that the production and the generation of systematical knowledge have progressed in a parallel way to the scientific research.

The objective of this article is to explore the communities generated on YouTube by content creators on complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). Through graph theory, visual network analysis and a broad overview of the content of selected channels, communities are examined to assess their strength as a community in terms of their degree of connectedness and density. Strong communities are composed of individuals who spread the word about the same topic and viewpoint, acting as one block. Results showed that content creators who promote CAM on YouTube have small and weak communities; in contrast, content creators related to scientific dissemination, who are against CAM, have built strong communities.

The use of complementary therapies in the care of the population with drug use problems continues to be a phenomenon of interest to the health professional and researcher, especially for nurses, who provide holistic care. Objective: to synthesise the available scientific evidence regarding therapies used in psychoactive substance use disorders in young people. Objective: Determine the relationship between maternal knowledge and practices on complementary feeding in a health center in Lambayeque, Peru 2021. Method: This research was non-experimental, quantitative, correlational, cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 151 mothers, obtained by StatCalc, from a population of 250. The sampling was simple random probabilistic, the technique used was the survey and the instrument was a questionnaire prepared by Barzola, resulting in 0.059 in the table of concordance, determining its validity, the Kuder Richardson statistical test was also applied with a result of 0.62. The objective of the research was to identify the effect of a complementary academic program on the improvement of entrepreneurship competence at level 1 (n1) among undergraduate students. To achieve this, an experimental program was conducted in 2020, based on the Lean Startup methodology, utilizing a quantitative, quasi-experimental approach with Solomon’s design. The sample consisted of 112 students, and the evaluation tool employed was a rubric that had been validated by a committee of experts and approved by the institution’s assessment area. A questionnaire was administered and analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests. The findings demonstrated an improvement in the competence and its dimensions within the experimental groups, indicating that the experimental group without a pretest exhibited superior results.

Objective: To evaluate the association between a history of comorbidities and the use of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) to prevent COVID-19 in Lambayeque, Peru. Material and Methods: Analytical cross-sectional study that used information from the database of the Red Prestacional Lambayeque of the Social Security of Health. The outcome variable was the self-report of having consumed and/or used some type of MAC during the pandemic to prevent COVID-19. Objective: To learn about and compare breastfeeding practices, complementary feeding and the nutritional status of preschoolers attending various child development centers in a municipality of Mexico City. Materials and methods: An analytical cross-sectional study which analyzed a sample of 444 preschoolers who underwent anthropometric measurements and hemoglobin determination. Additionally, information on breastfeeding andcomplementary feeding practices was gathered from mothers. The children were categorized into two age groups (13 to 59 months and 13 to 80 months). La presente investigación planteó como el objetivo general determinar la relación entre la práctica de alimentación complementaria y la presencia de anemia ferropénica en niños de 6 a 36 meses. El estudio fue descriptivo-correlacional, corte transversal, diseño no experimental, cuya población fue 93 y muestra 74. Para recoger la información se utilizó un cuestionario de práctica alimentación complementaria, cuya confiabilidad con Alfa de Crombach fue 0, 930 y en la presencia de anemia ferropénica se hizo un registro de los datos de niños de 6 a 36 meses. Corn is a cereal with high potential for grain production and is highly sensitive to water deffcit and nitrogen; these two factors are the main limitations of the corn producers of the Community of Vista Alegre in San Marcos-Ancash. In this sense, the objective of this research was to evaluate the yield of starchy maize in irrigated and rainfed situations with two levels of nitrogen.To do this, the study was carried out in Complete Random Block Design (DBCA) with a factorial arrangement of 2x2 in 3 repetitions. Irrigation was applied during the Critical Period (PC) between two weeks before and after flowering; and the doses of 150 and 300 kg/ha of N were supplied in the phenological stages ofV3 andV6. Objetivo. Determinar los factores relacionados al diagnóstico de obesidad y sobrepeso en pacientes atendidos en la Unidad de Medicina Complementaria (UMEC) del Hospital II Vitarte, durante el año 2008. Materiales y métodos. Estudio transversal. Se evaluaron características sociodemográficas (edad, sexo, procedencia), estado nutricional y comorbilidades asociadas en historias clínicas de 626 pacientes atendidos en la UMEC. Se usó la prueba exacta de Fisher, la prueba de Kruskal-Wallis y un análisis de regresión logística multinomial para determinar posibles factores asociados. Resultados. Objetivo: determinar el conocimiento, aceptación y uso de la medicina tradicional, alternativa y/o complementaria (MTAC) en un grupo de médicos del Seguro Social de Salud (EsSalud). Materiales y métodos:estudio transversal, descriptivo. Se realizó un muestreo monoétapico por conglomerado entre médicos pertenecientes a redes asistenciales de Lima, a quienes se les aplicó una encuesta validada por expertos y luego en una prueba piloto (alfa de cronbach=0,80).
