Actualmente, la toma de decisiones ambientales referidas a preservar las cuencas hidrográficas está orientada bajo los preceptos de una evaluación ambiental en el tiempo o histórica. El objetivo del presente trabajo de investigación fue realizar una evaluación ecotoxicológica histórica del ecosistema San Juan de Santiago de Cuba. Para ello fue considerado un monitoreo ambiental sistemático, el cual transcurrió desde el 2010 al 2013, con frecuencia trimestral. Se determinaron parámetros físico-químicos como conductividad eléctrica, alcalinidad total, dureza total, pH, sólidos totales, oxígeno disuelto, demanda bioquímica de oxígeno y demanda química de oxígeno. Oral health requires priority; a great challenge is to reduce the high burden of disease morbidity, in that way it is valid to share lessons. The aim of this article is to expose experiences of the oral health approach in Cuba as a social good and human right. The article characterized the organization and institutionalization of an organized care practice within the single national health system with universal coverage and state funding. This paper referenced to national programs and actions, human resources training being the Integral General Stomatology an integrative discipline based on the health analysis. Also, the specialty favors the integrated action within the primary health care. The results showed advances. It is concluded that several factors may facilitate addressing oral health as a social good and human right in Cuba; however, its improvement has challenges.

Material y Métodos: La revisión sistemática de los 10 artículos científicos encontrados sobre eficacia de un programa educativo para la prevención del sobrepeso en niños y adolescentes, fueron hallados en la siguiente base de datos Cochrane. Lilacs, Scielo, Medline Pubmed, todos fueron analizados según la Escala Grade para determinar su fuerza y calidad de evidencia. Resultados: En la selección definitiva se eligieron 10 artículos, de los cuales el 50% (05) corresponden a México, 10% (01) a Ecuador, 10% Argentina, 10% a Chile, 10% Brasil y el 10% Estados Unidos. A cross-sectional observational research was carried out in 10 Basic State Units (BSU) of laying hens and five of replacements in the Matanzas province, Cuba during a period of eight weeks, from March to May 2019. The data, epizootiological quadrants, identification was recorded. of the BSU, total number of rearing houses, orientation of the houses, distance and location of nearby towns and roads and for the spatial visualization the QGIS version 3.0.1 program was used. The objective of this study was to determine the seroprevalence of bovine brucellosis and identify risk factors for brucellosis in Pinar del Río province, Cuba. A cross-sectional study was performed based on the results of the epidemiological surveillance programme. Geospatial distribution was analyzed by calculating the standardized incidence ratio (SIR) at the municipality level. In addition, the association between diagnostic results and factors such as the productive system, sex and age groups (<12, 12-24, 24-36, >36 months) was assessed. A total of 12 760 blood samples were processed and 113 were positive; thus, the estimated seroprevalence in the province was 0.89% (95 % CI 0.74-1.06). En la presente investigación, se evaluó el efecto de un programa de intervención cognitivo-conductual en niños y niñas con cáncer, 4 sujetos, niños y niñas, de 8 a 13 años de edad del área oncológica del Hospital Nacional Carlos Alberto Seguín Escobedo (HNCASE) en la ciudad de Arequipa. Se utilizó la prueba “Escala de depresión para niños (CDS- Children’s Depression Scale)”. Los resultados muestran diferencias significativas entre los niveles de depresión en una línea base y los niveles de depresión durante el tratamiento, los cuales perduraron hasta el seguimiento; tales niveles fueron desde puntos altos de depresión hasta niveles muy bajos, por lo que se puede deducir que, el programa de intervención cognitivo-conductual, presentado en esta investigación, fue efectivo para los niños y niñas, del área oncológica del HNCASE.
