Mining and metallurgical activity produces liquid effluents as a waste during the extraction process, which must be treated in order to be disposed in the environment, following governmental and environmental legislation. Objective: To determine in vitro microleakage in lithium disilicate veneers cemented with resin cement and thermally modified resin. Materials and methods: An in vitro study was conducted using 20 maxillary premolars, on which lithium disilicate veneers were cemented. The specimens were divided into two groups of ten samples each. Each tooth was prepared on the vestibular surface for subsequent veneer fabrication. In Group 1, veneers were cemented with resin cement (Nexus-3), whereas in Group 2, thermally modified resin (Herculite Précis™) was used. Since few years ago, cement manufacturing process has been being qualified and regulated by the Peruvian Mining Authority as a mining benefit process which implies the obligation to obtain a benefit mining concession previously. However, upon a review of the technical process aspects, the legal framework in force and a recent judgment enacted by the Constitutional Court of Peru regarding this topic, the position traditionally assumed by the Ministry of Energy and Miningcould be reconsidered.

This article describes the cementation process of leached solutions from copper sulphide ores being and without being toasted. With favorable results in this study, we get the pattern for the feasibility of moving from the classical technology of concentration to the technology of cementation of copper sulfide minerals containing silver and gold. Simulation steps have been performed considering the different variables involved in the process such as time, agitation, solution concentration, pH and others. A kinetic model of copper cementation from PLS solutions purified by Solvent Extraction (SX) has been developed and it has the following form: C = 6.08 exp (- 0.03 t) Recoveries were obtained greater than 90% copper, which gives the possibility to improve the costs of national ores and con- centrates, as well as to open a favorable scenario for new national metallurgical projects.

Purpose: The aim of this paper is to address a company valuation procedure by explaining the steps that must be followed from an economic-financial perspective. Design/methodology: We employ the study case methodology to fulfill all the procedure stages. Specifically, we analyze the Peruvian cement company “Cementos Pacasmayo”. A 10-year discounted cash flow (DCF) is presented and brought to present value using a discount rate (WACC) composed by the cost of debt and the cost of capital of the company. A partir de minerales sulfurados de cobre-zinc del Complejo Marañón de la Cordillera Oriental de los Andes peruanos mediante procesos metalúrgicos integrados se ha obtenido cementos de cobre de buena calidad, lo cual facilita la viabilidad de dar valor tecnológico a los concentrados nacionales de cobre. It has been obtained a good quality copper cement from copper-zinc sulphides ores of the east peruvian Andes at Marañon complex zone using integrated metallurgical processes, that makes easier the possibility to give technological value to peruvian concentrates of copper. Monitoring obtained products employing combined techniques such the X-Ray diffraction or the Mössbauer spectroscopy allow us to have a better information of the existing elements and help to control and optimize the metallurgical processes. Context: Ceramic veneers are shown as an excellent alternative to improve dental aesthetics with ideal optical and mechanical properties. The objective of this study, was to evaluate the influence of the cementing agent and artificial aging on the veneer´s color. Material and Methods: For this, 30 human premolars were carved to receive veneers made with 0.5mm thick porcelain of the same color. The tooth-veneer sets were randomly separated into three groups (n = 10). A first color measurement was performed on each tooth using the Vita Easyshade colorimeter. Peru maintains a leading position in the world mining in connection to production and extraction of metals like copper, zinc, silver, gold among others. Geological exploration and prospecting already carried out, show us a promissory future for the above mentioned minerals and other interesting findings like nickel in millerite ore which was proved in some ore deposits of the Marañón geological complex. This occurrence allowed us to carry out metallurgical investigation, specifically hydrometallurgical processing for the Peruvian sulphide ore aimed to the development of profitable mining operations for both private sector and the Peruvian state. We showed the metallurgical test results carried out at the metallurgical engineering school related to obtaining metallic nickel plates and its by products like cement and sulphate crystals.

La presente tesis aborda la influencia del aditivo, Sikament 290 N - en su dosificación de superplastificante-, en las propiedades en estado fresco y en la resistencia a la compresión y resistencia a la flexión del concreto cemento arena, elaborado con agregado fino marginal de módulo de fineza 1.09, usando dos relaciones agua cemento A:C= 0.58 y 0.64, y las siguientes 4 marca de cemento: Apu Tipo GU, Inka Tipo ICO, Andino Tipo I y Amazónico tipo GU, con una dosificación de aditivo 0.9% con relación al peso del cemento.
