As a translator, a witness, and a litigant, Guaman Poma well serves to describe the implementation of Spanish administrative and juridical institutions in colonial Peru. In lettered texts, as well as in black andwhite drawings found in his Nueva Corónica, Guaman Poma references the paper artifacts of Spanish juridical processes in his project to preserve native Andean cultural practices and properties. This essay examines his knowledge of legal processes, legal formats, and his program for a legacy of justice in the Andes. In closely studying exemplary texts such as the writ of amparo, cédula (decree) and permuta (exchange), Guaman Poma uses Spanish law for his Andean purposes. With attention to previous research by Adorno, Quispe-Agnoli, de la Puente Luna, and Burns, this study examines concepts of European law and history deemed advantageous for native Andeans.

This article analyzes one of the discriminatory discourses that has recently acquired special relevance in the Peruvian national context: cyberterruqueo. The aim is to carry out a descriptive analysis of the phenomenon —from the political-ideological and ethnic, racial and cultural perspectives—, and to study, in the context of cyberspace, the hegemonic representations that are discursively created with respect to certain sectors of the population. This project focuses on developing an NLP-based text analysis tool to evaluate Android app user feedback, specifically collected from F-Droid. The lack of an automated solution to analyze and understand these opinions, classifying them into specific topics, motivates research. The goal is to provide developers, users, and data analysts with a detailed view of user preferences and perceptions. Using data sets in English between 2014 and 2017, the proposal is implemented in Python with the Pandas library. The BERT model is used for classification, with a specific focus on the comparison of different models. The graphical interface is built in Visual Studio, allowing users to enter comments and obtain topic rankings, along with word cloud visualizations.

In order to evaluate the forms of interaction in the main Instagramers from Peru and Colombia, an exploratory analysis of their profiles was carried out on the Instagram audiovisual platform during 2019. For this reason, firstly, the Heepsy tool was used to establish the influencers with greater impact within the platform in both countries and then, through the monitoring tools Fan Page Karma and Social Blade, to determine a set of variables and parameters regarding their interaction. The results show that the audience index is higher for Instagramers from Colombia than for the ones from Peru. The article presents the results of a non-experimental, descriptive and explanatory research. This research is related to the mining of text and feelings, for this we worked with all the official speeches of the former president of Peru Pedro Castillo Terrones, which amount to 12 and are in the public domain on the Peruvian state portal. The objective was to determine what the message is behind the aforementioned speeches of the former president. The data were processed in R through RStudio, and the lexicon NRC. This paper is intended to give a synchronic description of the phonological processes suffered by the occlusive segments in coda position at the inner part of the word in the Spanish of Lima. In addition, the descriptive part of the research will be supported by acoustic data that may be evidenced throughout the work. For this purpose the Praat program was used (acoustic analysis). Who writes the news in the Chilean press according to gender? Who are the sources, male or female, in the Chilean press? Is there a relationship between the gender of journalists and the gender of the sources in the Chilean press? This article studies the gender of the Chilean newsroom and their sources in 12,113 news through a quantitative method with a computational social science approach. This method combines web scraping and natural language processing techniques to gather and preprocess data, facilitating the exploration of complex social phenomena. Results show important biases in journalists and source gender. From a sample of 158 journalists, 99 were men (63%) and 59 women (37%). El objetivo de la investigación que se formuló fue: Determinar en qué medida el Proceso de Auditoria ISO 27001 mejorará los controles de seguridad de la información en la Municipalidad Distrital de San Juan Bautista durante el 2018. Dentro de los procesos de formación de palabras, el mecanismo morfológico de la composición ha sido poco estudiado en el aimara y en otras lenguas andinas. Esta investigación muestra una descripción de las maneras de cómo se conforman las palabras compuestas en la gramática del aimara de Conima. Por tanto, en este trabajo se analizan la estructura y la combinatoria sintáctica de las palabras compuestas en esta variedad lingüística. La data ha sido recogida de los hablantes y de la información procedente de los principales diccionarios en aimara. En este estudio, se concluye que el aimara de Conima forma compuestos a partir de seis patrones sintácticos que siguen la estructura complemento-núcleo. Finalmente, en relación con su tipología, en la indagación se indica que esta variedad emplea la composición para formar palabras compuestas básicamente de orden nominal.

Within the processes of word formation, the morphological mechanism of the compounding has been little studied in Aymara and other Andean languages. This survey shows a description of the ways in which the compound words are formed in the grammar of Conima Aymara. Therefore, this work analyzes the structure and the syntactic combination of the composition in this linguistic variety. The data has been collected from the speakers and from the main dictionaries in Aymara. The present investigation concludes that the Conima Aymara forms compounds from six syntactic patterns that follow the complement-core structure. Finally, in relation to its typology, this survey points out that the Conima Aymara basically creates nominal compounding.

Abstract The objective was to analyze the organization of the houses in a rural geographical area from the spatial analysis in relation to the location and organizational characteristics in the Andes of Peru, the data were obtained from direct interviews with the families, supported by the systems geographic information through the processing of satellite images that allowed the development of thematic maps for analysis and interpretation. The conclusion in relation to the location of the houses 44% of them are located between 200 to 400 meters away from a water source; while in the organizational characteristic they are very common aspects, three rooms, the calamine ceiling and the construction of the adobe walls.

The following research deals with a methodological proposal in the teaching of vocabulary through the use of songs in English from the view of the musical expression and the English language. This research has an interdisciplinary approach between music and language in order to achieve a meaningful learning for the student, with the attempt to increase the English vocabulary of these students. In the present text I look at some aspects that can contribute to the accomplishment of this task, especially from the analysis of the José Carlos Mariátegui perspective, the Immanuel Wallerstein modern system-world theory and the Aníbal Quijano coloniality of power concept.
