The article aims to describe how methodologies generally used in the private sector can be applied to optimize state programs, and more specifically, school feeding programs (PAE, according to its initials in Spanish). Therefore, to achieve its objectives and, above all, to generate value, both for the users of the programs and for Peruvian society, it is essential that the management of the PAE is developed efficiently. To contribute to this task, the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) and Stakeholder Analysis of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) are presented from a theoretical application approach, and both methodologies can be adapted or applied directly according to the specificities of the organization.

The complexity of health problems such as childhood cancer poses challenges in health care and in the evaluation of interventions. This situation is aggravated if policy makers and decision makers assume that a healthcare system works in a delimited environment with defined rules. The approach to childhood cancer in Colombia required the promulgation of a law to contribute to the reduction of mortality from this cause with implications for nursing. This article proposes the use of artificial neural networks (ANN) to solve the power flow problem in electrical energy systems. Power flow calculates the steady state of an electrical power system (SEP) and is a fundamental tool for the planning, operation and control of modern SEPs. The mathematical model of the power flow corresponds to a set of nonlinear algebraic equations that can be solved conventionally with the iterative Newton-Raphson (NR) method or with its decoupled versions. This paper presents a compendium of good practices detected from the application of the Social Profitability Indicator in Communication IRSCOM to a group of 12 community and indigenous public interest stations in Colombia during the year 2022. The IRSCOM-RADCC (Radio Comunitaria Colombia) is a tested methodology that is specified in 33 indicators and is designed to collect quantitative and qualitative information on the internal functioning of the media in relation to six categories of analysis: management, social capital, territorial and citizen articulation, programming, Internet activity and infrastructure. This article focuses on the examination of pre-professional practice systematization and proposes a theoretical-methodological model that draws from Oscar Jara’s framework and incorporates insights from neuroscience and critical complex thinking. The objective is to enhance the understanding and implementation of effective pre-professional practice. A sample of 1,150 students was selected from four universities and a pedagogical institute in Peru to investigate the systematization processes, efficiency levels, and research skill articulation of pre-professional practice. This multilateral treaty, of which Peru has been a party since 1994, brought with it the state responsibility to adopt specific laws, policies and programs focused on the rights and welfare of indigenous and tribal peoples. Among the scope of the Convention, is the recognition of the right to prior consultation, in this sense, this article provides a critical reflection on its application in Peru.

The development of volcanology in Latin America is marked by a common regional scenario, with countries sharing borders, socio-cultural characteristics and facing similar scientific challenges. The purpose of this paper is to examine the effects of knowledge management through informal learning on the relationship between employability and job performance of recent graduates in their first jobs. A quantitative, cross-sectional survey of 392 graduates of business school management programs at 4 universities in Lima, Peru was conducted to study the relationship between employability and job performance as moderated by informal learning inside and outside the work environment. The mitochondrial genome of Pumpo (Bos taurus), a prominent breed contributing to livestock farming, was sequenced using the Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform. Assembly and annotation of the mitochondrial genome were achieved through a multifaceted approach employing bioinformatics tools such as Trim Galore, SPAdes, and Geseq, followed by meticulous manual inspection. Additionally, analyses covering tRNA secondary structure and codon usage bias were conducted for comprehensive characterization. The 16,341 base pair mitochondrial genome comprises 13 protein-coding genes, 22 tRNA genes, and 2 rRNA genes. The Cultural Diversity courses on Programn of Psychology should raise students’ awareness towards Others who tend to provoke negative emotions because of being different. The university courses and professional practices seem to respond to a particular culture while pretending to be universal in their postures. A qualitative study was conducted in which syllabuses of cultural diversity courses corresponding to different academic institutions from Puerto Rico, Europe and Latin America were examined. The content analysis revealed that the approach to the subject typically corresponds to the country’s idiosyncrasy, psychosocial circumstances and particular regulations as well as the intervention of organizations and accrediting agencies. It is discussed the inherent diversity to the psychology, even in their teaching as in its application.

Cinco años del programa Juntos: Nuevas evidencias sobre sus impactos de corto y largo plazo. Este estudio presenta resultados de la evaluación de impacto cuantitativo del programa de transferencias de dinero condicionales Juntos, aplicado en el Perú. Usando técnicas de variables instrumentales, se estima el impacto promedio del programa cinco años, desde su inicio, y explora los impactos diferenciados entre los beneficiarios, dependiendo de su tiempo de permanencia en el programa. Al hacer esto, el análisis explora si se necesita de tiempo para que el programa tenga impacto significativo, y si la magnitud del impacto depende de la estancia de los beneficiarios en el programa.
