This research aimed to promote the participation of a group of students of the blended course Organizational Behavior (Institute of Superior Education IDAT, Lima-Peru), from the implementation of a digital badge program in the institution’s LMS. The results showed that there was a participation percentage of 94,6%, which was higher by 61.2% compared to another course of the same group of students, and higher by 24.51% compared to the remain courses of the same period. In addition, a survey was applied to the students about their experience in this program. Further exploration of the impact of digital badge programs is required, using an experimental methodology.

The changes of the human capital that students of telesecundaria education in an indigenous municipality cataloged as in extreme poverty are analyzed. These changes were motivated by the implementation of an educational digital inclusion project operated by a group of Non-Governmental Organizations, which are called the “assistance cluster”. An ethnographic methodology is developing in the municipality of Coatecas Altas that is located in the Mexican state of Oaxaca, performing fieldwork for 16 months between 2017-2018 with a sample of 24 students. The research aimed to understand how students, future teachers in the Teaching and Bachelor's programs in Early Education, perceived themselves in relation to digital agency, i.e., the ability to adapt to a digital world, after participating in an educational experience mediated by the use of Empowerment and Participation Technologies, specifically quick response codes. Digital education has transformed the teaching-learning processes and mainly the teaching role. Indeed, its mission has evolved from being a builder, selector, and transmitter of knowledge to being a companion, mediator, and motivator in the construction of knowledge. In this sense, the research analyzes the digital learning strategies applied by the teacher in virtual educational environments. For this purpose, a quantitative and qualitative study was carried out on a group of 30 participating teachers who perfected their digital skills and socialized these in their educational field. The results show considerable appreciation of digital educational resources as a fundamental part of their digital strategies, as well as teaching skills and professional training. Finally, the research determined a high adaptation and integration of digital procedures to management and teaching work.

El estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar la relación entre competencias digitales y deserción académica en estudiantes de un instituto en Huancayo durante el 2024. Se empleó un método cuantitativo, no experimental y correlacional, con una muestra de 51 estudiantes seleccionados a través de muestreo censal. La recolección de datos se realizó mediante una encuesta usando el cuestionario de Competencia Digital del Alumnado de Educación Superior (CDAES), con una confiabilidad de 0.877, considerada adecuada. Para comprobar la hipótesis se utilizó la prueba Chi Cuadrado, resultando un valor p de 0.651 (>0.05), lo que indica que se rechaza la hipótesis nula. Así, se concluye qu e no existe relación significativa entre las competencias digitales y la deserción académica en el grupo estudiado.

This study analyzed the impact of the Nutrinfo Digital Library on the level of nutrition education among students in a Faculty of Food Industries at a university in the Peruvian Amazon, located in the city of Iquitos. The research was based on a quasi-experimental design with a control group. The sample consisted of 62 students enrolled in the faculty and was divided into an experimental group (n = 31) that received the intervention and a control group (n = 31) that received no intervention, thus ensuring baseline homogeneity among participants. El presente estudio tuvo la finalidad de determinar la relación que existe entre la competencia digital y el desempeño laboral en los docentes de los Institutos de Educación Superior Tecnológico bajo estudio en el año 2023, utilizando el modelo teórico de Tourón et al. (2018) para la variable de competencia digital docente y, para la variable de desempeño laboral de Koopmans et. al (2013) con la adaptación a un contexto peruano realizado por Geraldo (2022).
