This research sought to describe the teaching strategies used by teachers in the interaction processes of first grade students in two educational institutions in Lima. The technique used was, in the first place, observation, for which a field notebook and a checklist were used. Second, interviews were applied to teachers. Among the finds, the significance of the strategies employed, such as teamwork, dynamics of integration and assignment of roles in the modes of interaction of first grade students, was evidenced. Likewise, certain predominant attitudes were observed among some students, which evidenced the establishment of both horizontal and vertical interactions.

The Feminist HCI is characterized as the integration of feminist theory into HCI practice, which can occur at all stages of the design process, including user research, prototyping and evaluation. However, there is still a research gap on the integration of feminism with established HCI methods. An HCI methodology that is also concerned with human values and the possible consequences of technological artifacts is Value Sensitive Design (DSV). The present work seeks to answer how to include Feminism HCI in the HCI Project with the VSD. This research took place in the context of ELLAS Project, an Open Data platform that aims to contribute to the reduction of the gender difference in STEM in Brazil, Peru and Bolivia.

In order to evaluate the forms of interaction in the main Instagramers from Peru and Colombia, an exploratory analysis of their profiles was carried out on the Instagram audiovisual platform during 2019. For this reason, firstly, the Heepsy tool was used to establish the influencers with greater impact within the platform in both countries and then, through the monitoring tools Fan Page Karma and Social Blade, to determine a set of variables and parameters regarding their interaction. The results show that the audience index is higher for Instagramers from Colombia than for the ones from Peru. In addition, there is a clear trend among digital audiences to value content through likes as a sign of interaction with it, but on the other hand, there is a representative decrease in expressing their impressions with words and comments regarding what they observe; this is also established by the...

The MINERvA experiment observes an excess of events containing electromagnetic showers relative to the expectation from Monte Carlo simulations in neutral-current neutrino interactions with mean beam energy of 4.5 GeV on a hydrocarbon target. The excess is characterized and found to be consistent with neutral-current π0 production with a broad energy distribution peaking at 7 GeV and a total cross section of 0.26 0.02ðstat.Þ 0.08ðsys:Þ × 10−39 cm2. The angular distribution, electromagnetic shower energy, and spatial distribution of the energy depositions of the excess are consistent with expectations from neutrino neutral-current diffractive π0 production from hydrogen in the hydrocarbon target. These data comprise the first direct experimental observation and constraint for a reaction that poses an important background process in neutrino-oscillation experiments searching for ...

The objective of this review is to report on the progress made so far in the development of THz spectroscopy technology with application in the food industry, as well as, to evaluate the range of frequencies used by this technology in relation to the water content of food, to find patterns in which the physicochemical characterization of food samples is most effective. From the literature reviewed, it has been found that THz spectroscopy is still in constant development, both in the physical part of the equipment and in the data processing techniques. Despite these advances, the frequency ranges in which the identification of compounds are influenced by the interference of the water composition of food have not been clearly identified, even molecular behavior of water in the frequency ranges corresponding to the spectral band of THz is still little known. When performing a meta-analysis ...

Single neutral pion production via muon antineutrino charged-current interactions in plastic scintillator (CH) is studied using the MINERvA detector exposed to the NuMI low-energy, wideband antineutrino beam at Fermilab. Measurement of this process constrains models of neutral pion production in nuclei, which is important because the neutral-current analog is a background for appearance oscillation experiments. The differential cross sections for momentum and production angle, for events with a single observed and no charged pions, are presented and compared to model predictions. These results comprise the first measurement of the kinematics for this process.

The article examines the nature of the effect of the digital economy and artificial intelligence on the participants of the school educational process. The study deploys a Likert scale questionnaire, focused interview, and IBM SPSS Statistics 22 as the main instruments. The authors determine the status of a teacher in the AI-teacher system and identify the nature of AI’s influence on the students and communication within the teacher-student-teacher system. Support is provided for the hypothesis suggesting that the effect of the digital economy and AI on the participants of the school educational process (teachers and students) is complex and controversial and causes the differences in the teachers’ positions depending on their age, working experience, and the subject of specialization. The primary advantage of the article is the identification of stable relationships in the teacher-s...

This paper discusses the Hawkes process to modeling of the offering book, especially the ETF it iShare Ibovespa index fund. The study aimed to investigate the dynamics of the influences of the offers in relation to the past orders. We study too to the interaction of the order rates of the opposing sides of the Book. Another point addressed is the verification of the operating strategy that captures the dynamics studied. At the first moment, the univariate approach was performed and in the second moment the multivariate of the Hawkes process. The results show that in both cases the Hawkes process it fits well to the data. The fit model indicates that agents have similar behaviors when they act as buyers or sellers of assets. As for the strategy, it was not possible to establish spare gains from changes in bid rates. However, these results are due to the it bid-ask spread more that the pre...

Information Technology (TIC) and Communication in Higher Education is an ideal way to develop the teaching-learning process. At the "Marta Abreu" Central University of Las Villas, Villa Clara, Cuba, the Moodle interactive platform is used to set up the Virtual Classrooms in support of the face-to-face modality. The subject "Physics Topics" in the initial training of Biology teachers at the Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences has been perfected since the 2017-2018 academic year, and is considered to enable greater interaction between the personal components of the teaching-learning process. The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the COVID-19 pandemic on March 11, 2020 which caused Cuban universities to switch from face-to-face to non-face-to-face modality. A group of students who live in the city of Santa Clara, Villa Clara, Cuba, where the institution is located, were able to exchange ...
