The objective of this research is to design a Data Mart to identify tactical actions and increase the use of POS (points of sale) in the bodega business sector of Lima, Peru. A quantitative approach, using transaction history data, is applied using the Kimball methodology. This involves the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process to create a dimensional model and to develop a dashboard to visualize key indicators using Power BI. This solution is expected to improve the detection and analysis of transactional errors, categorized by geographic location and business sector while enhancing decision-making processes. Technological advances have allowed to collect and store large volumes of data over the years. Besides, it is significant that today's applications have high performance and can analyze these large datasets effectively. Today, it remains a challenge for data mining to make its algorithms and applications equally efficient in the need of increasing data size and dimensionality [1]. To achieve this goal, many applications rely on parallelism, because it is an area that allows the reduction of cost depending on the execution time of the algorithms because it takes advantage of the characteristics of current computer architectures to run several processes concurrently [2]. This paper proposes a parallel version of the FuzzyPred algorithm based on the amount of data that can be processed within each of the processing threads, synchronously and independently.

Current annual lemon production in Argentina is about 900 thousand t. 75% is used industrially to obtain pasteurized juice concentrate. Since 40 - 45 % of citrus fruit content is peel and seeds, the annual lemon residue yield is 360 thousand t. Lemon peel contains about 30% (B.S.) of peptic substances with an important commercial value due to its gelling and thickening properties for food, chemical, pharmacological and cosmetic products. Membrane processes have many applications in food manufacture. The idea that there is no precedence for the amount of data that is being generated today, and that the need to explore and analyze this vast volumes of data has become an increasingly difficult task that could benefit from using Data visualization is presented. It is pointed that the goals of data visualization are data-driven and depend largely on the type of application, but the final objective is to convey to people information that is hidden in large volumes of data. Finally, the visualization pipeline is presented to review aspects of visualization methodology and visualization tool design, to conclude that the true potential of visualization emerge from the interaction of the user with the visualization model. The paper concludes establishing that the current processes of digital transformation will increase the need for visual analytics tools.

ABSTRACT Waste from fruit processing can be used for obtaining additives as colorants and antioxidant compounds by extraction processes. Despite there are many works optimizing parameters as temperature and solvent concentration during this process, the mixture of solvents has not been optimized yet. Therefore, the present work aimed to find the optimum solvent mixture among water, ethanol, and acetone to obtain the maximum yields of phenolic compounds and monomeric anthocyanins from blue berry and grape marc by ultrasound-assisted extraction. For that, the Reticular Simplex Mixtures Design was used to obtain the models that can predict the optimum values of extraction yields. Commonly the searching and identification of new particles, requires to reach highest efficiencies and purities as well. It demands to apply a chain of cuts that reject the background substantially. In most cases the processes to extract signal from the background is carried out by hand with some assistance of well designed and intelligent codes that save time and resources in high energy physics experiments. In this paper we present one application of the Mitchell’s criteria to extract efficiently beyond Standard Model signal events yielding an error of order of 1.22%. The usage of Machine Learning schemes appears to be advantageous when large volumes of data need to be scrutinized.

The main goal of this research is to demonstrate that the use of innovative technology like business intelligence (BI) in a specific type of business significantly impacts their sales processes, enhancing decision-making, promotional strategies, and consequently customer loyalty and sales growth.
