ZnO nanorods (NRs) films, nitrogen-doped (ZnO:N), and ZnO doped with nitrogen and decorated with silver nanostructures (ZnO:N-Ag) NRs films were vertically supported on undoped and N doped ZnO seed layers by a wet chemical method. The obtained films were characterized structurally by X-ray diffraction. Morphological and elemental analysis was performed by scanning electron microscopy, including an energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy facility and their optical properties by Ultraviolet-Visible Spectroscopy. Analysis performed in the NRs films showed that the nitrogen content in the seed layer strongly affected their structure and morphology. The mean diameter of ZnO NRs ranged from 70 to 190 nm. The germination process was applied to Andean grains: quinoa and amaranth, in arder to generate them physical and chemical changes, which are favorable for preparations less viscous and more energy, and increase nutrients. We worked with White quinoa and amaranth variety Junín Osear Blanco from Huancayo. The germination of the grains was higher in quinoa, amaranth not in yielding 98% and 70% germination respectively. A systematic review of the diagnostic methods described in the literature for the identification and characterization of species of the genus Salmonella was carried out. The review was carried out using publications from 2015 to 2021 registered in the NCBI/PubMed, ScienceDirect, Scopus, SciELO, Google Scholar and Springer databases and applying the PRISMA methodology. In total, 61 articles were analysed, grouping the data according to country of origin, type of sample, technique, microbiology protocol and genes used in molecular tests. Bandgap engineering of a-SiC:H thin films was carried out to assess the material light absorption without compromising its photoelectrochemical water splitting capabilities. The tailoring was performed by varying the hydrogen concentration in the semiconductor and by post-deposition isochronical annealing treatments from 100 ?C to 700 ?C. Bandgap values were obtained by fitting the fundamental absorption region of the absorption coefficient using three different models. Differences among bandgap values extracted by these methods and its correlation with the a-SiC:H structure, demonstrate that structural features, rather than a hydrogen rearrangement or depletion, would be responsible for annealing induced optical bandgap increment. In this work, well-designed zinc oxide-reduced graphene oxide (ZnO-rGO) nanorods (NRs) were synthesized by a hydrothermal method using electrospun ZnO-rGO seed layers. The ZnO-rGO seed layers were fabricated on fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) glass substrates through calcined of electrospun nanofibers at 400◦C in the air for 1 h. The nanofibers were prepared by electrospinning different spinning voltages and a spinning solution containing zinc acetate, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, and 0.2 wt% rGO. Evaluamos la acción antinociceptiva del extracto metanólico del Chuchuhuasi (Maytenus krukovii), al 20%, administrado por vía oral, en ratones albinos, machos, raza Webster Suizo obtenidos del Centro Nacional de Producción de Biológicos del Ministerio de Salud del Perú, utilizando un modelo de dolor visceral, mediante la administración de ácido acético al 2%, vía intraperitoneal, a la dosis de 0,05 ml/10g de peso. Observamos una disminución del 50% del número de contorsiones abdominales, en relación al grupo control, sin prolongación del período de latencia de las mismas. El efecto analgésico observado, fue bloqueado por la naloxona, lo que sugeriría la participación de receptores opioides, o de opioides endógenos en el mecanismo de la acción analgésica. Los resultados fueron analizados estadísticamente mediante el programa estadístico SPSS versión 11.5.

The aim of the present study is to estimate the export fluxes of major dissolved species at the scale of the Amazon basin, to identify the main parameters controlling their spatial distribution and to identify the role of discharge variability in the variability of the total dissolved solid (TDS) flux through the hydrological cycle. Data are compiled from the monthly hydrochemistry and daily discharge database of the “Programa Climatologico y Hidrologico de la Cuenca Amazonica de Bolivia” (PHICAB) and the HYBAM observatories from 34 stations distributed over the Amazon basin (for the 1983–1992 and 2000–2012 periods, respectively). Políticamente esta CAP se encuentra localizada en el distrito de Chulucanas, provincia de Morropón y departamento de Piura.

Las consecuencias de la homofobia pueden afectar la integridad, la salud mental y física de las personas homosexuales en la sociedad. Existen pocos estudios en Perú que hayan evaluado la homofobia en la población de estudiantes de medicina. Objetivo: Establecer los factores sociales, educativos y culturales asociados con la homofobia entre los estudiantes de medicina peruanos. Métodos: Se realizó un estudio analítico transversal en 12 escuelas de medicina en Perú. La homofobia se definió de acuerdo con una prueba validada, que se asoció con otras variables. Se identificaron asociaciones estadísticas. Resultados: Los porcentajes más bajos de estudiantes homofóbicos (15 a 20%) se encontraron en las cuatro universidades de Lima, mientras que las universidades del interior del país tuvieron los porcentajes más altos (22 a 62%).
