The purpose of this study was to evaluate the development of mentoring process and performance of the tutor in a mentoring pilot program from the perspective of student and teacher, the research design is pre experimental, application, qualitative and quantitative, the group consisted of 61 students and 12 tutors. This research had three stages; in the first teachers were trained as tutors with e-learning and was opened a virtual classroom. This study aimed to identify learning styles preference and their relationship to academic achievement in freshman students. Methodology: Honey-Alonso Learning Styles (CHAEA) questionnaire was used; and evaluation report academic of the freshman students as evidence of their performance 48 student volunteers who participated in the mentoring program; mentor teachers and students were trained. El Objetivo del estudio fue evaluar el desarrollo del proceso de tutoría y el desempeño del docente tutor en un Programa Piloto de tutoría desde la perspectiva del estudiante y docente participante. El diseño de la investigación es pre experimental, aplicativo, cualicuantitativo; la población de estudio es constituida por 61 estudiantes y 12 docentes. El estudio tuvo tres fases, en la primera se realizó capacitación a los docentes tutores y se aperturó una aula virtual. En la segunda se identificó el perfil del estudiante ingresante y se conformó grupos, en la tercera se ejecutó el programa de tutorías y se realizó la evaluación de esta. El presente estudio tuvo como propósito identificar los estilos de aprendizaje y su relación con el rendimiento académico en los estudiantes ingresantes. Metodología: Se utilizó el cuestionario Honey-Alonso de Estilos de aprendizaje (CHAEA), así como el historial académico como evidencia del su rendimiento académico de 48 estudiantes voluntarios, quienes participaron en el programa de Tutoría; se capacitó a docentes, tutores y estudiantes. When the oral hygiene is deficient, pH becomes acid and optimal for the demineralization of teeth surfaces. If a diet rich in sugars and flour predominates, they become more acid and the risk of caries beginning is imminent. Objective: This research aims to analyze the knowledge, application and assessment about the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) of Web 2.0 in education. The Web 2.0 consider the use of applications and websites willing to use the collective intelligence through social software to facilitate the learning processes. Materials and method: An observational, descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted in a simple random pro-bability sample of 173 students and 109 undergraduate and graduate respectively and 54 teachers. The gingivitis and periodontitis are the result of the presence of bacteria and their products capable of altering the tissue and the host response. Studies on action of Camellia sinensis (green tea) on microorganisms of periodontal disease, demonstrates the beneficial effects of this product and the application potential in different areas. The objective of this study was to compare the perception of the educational climate of San Marcos University dental students, in a period of approximately six months after implementation of the new undergraduate curriculum project, with the perception of students still found in the previous or traditional curriculum, taking into consideration the semester or year of study and gender. Methodology: it were surveyed 169 students representing 40% of all students enrolled, 129 of them belong to the new curriculum with mixed regime studies: semester in most asignatures and anual in integrated clinical asignatures; 40 belong to the previous regime curriculum with annual study for all asignatures. 53.3% of students were male and 46.7% female equitably distributed by semester or year of study and randomly chosen.
