In the present time the mine clearance by the security forces is considered a job with a high mortality rate. The purpose of this article was to develop and implement a robotic platform remote control for identification of antipersonnel landmines in various fields; starting from an obstacle avoidance system, for this propose we using the algorithm VFH (Vector Field Histogram) through the LabVIEW Robotics software. The results have showed that the caterpillar type traction system allows better movement, more grip in all fields compared to the type wheel drive system, plus 87.5% accuracy in identifying mines was obtained from a set of 8 different materials, compared with the currently used system MICRONTA 4003. The implemented system contributes to the detection of dangerous objects on different grounds, becoming an alternative to reduce mortality rates in demining.

Actualmente la labor de desminado realizada por la fuerza pública es considerada un trabajo con un alto índice de mortalidad. El propósito del artículo fue desarrollar e implementar una plataforma robótica teledirigida para la identificación de minas terrestres antipersona en diferentes terrenos; partiendo de un sistema de evasión de obstáculos, mediante el algoritmo de VFH (Vector Field Histogram), mediante el software LabView Robotics.             The aim of the study was to compare three doses of eCG associated with a short heat synchronization protocol in hair sheep. A total of 48 ewes were oestrous synchronized with intravaginal sponges impregnated with medroxyprogesterone acetate inserted for a period of six days. Upon removal of the sponge, a prostaglandin F2α analogue was applied. The animals were randomly divided into four groups: Control (without eCG) and T1, T2 and T3 with the application of 100, 250 and 400 IU of eCG, respectively. Oestrous detection and mating were made with four males of recognized fertility. The pregnancy diagnosis was made on day 60 after mating by transrectal ultrasound. PURPOSE: Infections are a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in patients with multiple myeloma (MM). In Latin America, data on infectious complications in this patient population are lacking. METHODS: We conducted a prospective cohort study of patients with newly diagnosed MM (NDMM) in seven Latin American countries between June 2019 and May 2020. Patients with active disease, on active therapy, and with a follow-up of 6 months from the time of diagnosis were included. Our primary end point was the number of infectious events that required hospitalization for ≥ 24 hours. RESULTS: Of 248 patients with NDMM, 89 (35.9%) had infectious complications (113 infectious events), the majority (67.3%) within the first 3 months from diagnosis. The use of L protein coupled magnetic particles for the concentration and purification of immunoglobulin M (mIgM) monoclonal antibodies against Taenia solium was evaluated. Three concentration methods and different elution times were evaluated and the ratio of particles to the ratio of mIgM was optimized. It is demonstrated that: 1) with the use of magnetic particles, a previous concentration of mIgM is not required, which reduces the manipulation of the antibodies and improves the recovery, 2) the use of a binding buffer can be omitted, since the pH of most cell culture supernatants are neutral, and 3) longer elution times (~ 45 minutes) are needed to increase recovery to a level greater than 80%.
