Intranets provide some of the most powerful and economical since the invention of the telephone technologies. Although simple in its architecture, intranets have the potential to change the way people work, learn and process information, reason have had tremendous growth and today almost all companies have a. [1] This paper analyzes the performance of an Intranet on a corporate network (in this case it was considered the network of a bank), through an analysis of usage statistics and measurement techniques and simulation with achieve results at particular level and general level.

Las aguas de uso doméstico en los tres barrios del Distrito Santo Toribio, provienen de: Red de agua no sometida a tratamiento, manantiales, reservorios, arroyuelos, y no se realiza control sanitario permanente. El objetivo es conocer la calidad higiénica de las aguas y prevención. Se examinó 276 muestras, utilizando métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos de APHA, OMS y OPS. Los resultados indican que: El 46.4 % roraptas para consumo y son aprovechados por 1,200 habitantes, pertenecen a red de aguas no sometidas a tratamiento y manantiales. El 53.6 % no as aceptable para consumo y son utilizados por 800 pobladores, pertenecen a los reservorios y arroyuelos.

In the present writing, the analysis, desing and implementation of the On-Line Job Section is described, which is a project comprised by the UNMSM-INDUSTRIAL PORTAL. For the development of this project, the methodology proposed by Software Engineering is used, employing up-to-date modelling and analysis tools. It is in addition the UNMSM-Faculity of Industrial Engineering Data WareHousing's implementation. It is furthermore pointed out that project was developed with the help of CIDESOFT.

The aim of this study was to isolate and characterize phenotypically and molecularly the pathogen Edwardsiella anguillarum, as well as to determine the anatomo-histopathological lesions in tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) cultivated with biofloc technology in the northern area of Lima, Peru. Five isolated bacterial strains were isolated and characterized by conventional biochemical techniques and by the API 20E system. E. anguillarum was identified from internal organs using biochemical and molecular techniques. The most frequent external clinical signs were bilateral exophthalmia, erythema in the pectoral fins and around the anus. Internally, whitish nodules in the heart and liver were observed. Pneumonia is one of the major causes of child mortality, yet with a timely diagnosis, it is usually curable with antibiotic therapy. In many developing regions, diagnosing pneumonia remains a challenge, due to shortages of medical resources. Lung ultrasound has proved to be a useful tool to detect lung consolidation as evidence of pneumonia. However, diagnosis of pneumonia by ultrasound has limitations: it is operator-dependent, and it needs to be carried out and interpreted by trained personnel. Pattern recognition and image analysis is a potential tool to enable automatic diagnosis of pneumonia consolidation without requiring an expert analyst. This paper presents a method for automatic classification of pneumonia using ultrasound imaging of the lungs and pattern recognition.

The use of L protein coupled magnetic particles for the concentration and purification of immunoglobulin M (mIgM) monoclonal antibodies against Taenia solium was evaluated. Three concentration methods and different elution times were evaluated and the ratio of particles to the ratio of mIgM was optimized. It is demonstrated that: 1) with the use of magnetic particles, a previous concentration of mIgM is not required, which reduces the manipulation of the antibodies and improves the recovery, 2) the use of a binding buffer can be omitted, since the pH of most cell culture supernatants are neutral, and 3) longer elution times (~ 45 minutes) are needed to increase recovery to a level greater than 80%.
