Many different information technology frame-works have been proposed to assist organi-zations implementing information technol-ogy. However, these frameworks are complex, difficult to implement, and overlap with one another making their simultaneous implementation even more difficult to ac-complish by organizations. This study proposes to develop an overlap-less maturity model that helps organizations deal with the aforementioned problems. The model was applied and evaluated by experts at five organizations. This approach was recognized as useful, complete, and helpful in a multi-framework implementation by prob-lem management (PM) experts. This research provides contributions for academics since it distinguishes itself from the existing studies in the body of knowledge and is a baseline for further investigation.

This article presents the problem of defining the concept of “competence”, due to it being an integral and complex term that has been applied in many domains as well as in a more general sense for everyday life. However, no doubt, a competence can only be tested and valuated in the practice, and it is a person who becomes competent in a context for a certain function. This is why there are many different conceptions in the literature regarding this issue; it’s a consequence of its imprecise, variable character. However, the position profiles (mainly in educational entities) and the acceptation/ graduation profiles are being more and more frequently established in terms of competences. This paper intends to check what has been valuated and written about the managerial competences training and development regarding the educational field, in order to obtain conclusions regarding its d...

The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the realization of classes through virtual platforms and made the teacher evaluation, instead of positively reflecting the level of knowledge, evidenced a low performance of the students, in this case, of the Preparatory No. 7 of the Autonomous University of Guerrero, Mexico. To explain this problem, qualitative research was carried out with descriptive and interpretative scope. 50 students were interviewed, and a structured questionnaire with ten open-ended questions was developed. The main results indicated that students perceive that traditional assessment does not reflect their knowledge, but incipient learning, stress and anxiety, so they suggested modifying the assessment process.

Peru, which is a rich country in amount of ores and gold reserves, moreover; it has an attractive minerals sector to the world and of great importance in national economic development. However, in the metallurgy of gold ores, there are minerals called refractory or complex, where free fine gold is trapped or associated with sulfides (pyrite and arsenopyrite), this problem can be seen in the concentrator Tamboraque, which uses inefficient conventional metallurgical processes and of high operating costs. Hence, the present research found an alternative treatment for this type of complex mineral, consisting in a total flotation in a first stage and then a special differential flotation in the second stage, obtaining as a result a reduction of 76.82 % treatmentvolume, 78.31 % the consumption of reagents, 63.64 % presence of toxic reactive in general tailings, 55.85 % and 55.04...

The integrative approach to care for patients demands training to evaluate frequent chronic problems in the outpatient clinic. Patients with hypertension, diabetes mellitus and asthma can be approach using models of evaluations such as the TOPIC that allows to order the evaluations in a structured sequence of four mayor tasks: processing of the information, development of an adequate physician-patient-family relationship and integrating information and learning for life. Processing information implies four sub-activities in which we evaluate patient´s expectations and concerns, severity and control of conditions, adherence and side effects of treatments focusing on damage to target organs and comorbidities. Applying this model can help physicians and their patients to be more efficient in managing chronic problems considering the short time available for ambulatory care.

The author analyzes the problems facing the criminal process today in terms of witness-victim testimony in gender-based crimes that are the product of unbridled populism and citizen dissatisfaction. It is necessary to avoid any gender bias that could lead to irrational judicial decisions, without diminishing the procedural guarantees, especially those that assist those investigated.

We show the results of the teaching-learning experience of the Math 'Level 0' course given to the freshers at UPC who do not pass the Math 'Level Exam'. The work was based on the feedback of the learning process and it was done at the same time that the university 'methodology of competencies' was being applied. The difference was based on the feedback given on each class based on evaluations that measured their cognitive and 'procedural knowledge'(part calculus and modelling of everyday situations). The comparison with the results obtained at the end of the week in general evaluations (common for each class) were positive, which encouraged us to keep up this learning process by common agreement. At the end of the course when comparisons between each class were made we saw that 70% passed the course due to applying this methodology. The uncertainty and high rate of mistrust that exists between teachers and their governing authorities, especially in pedagogical matters, is one of the key problems in teaching-learning. In this study it was verified that the Pedagogical Directive Leadership is related to the Pedagogical Competences of the Teacher at the secondary level of the “Mercedes Cabello de Carbonera” school. Lima 2018., since it is through a p whose value less than 0.05 in the statistical analysis, such a relationship is demonstrated with an r = 0.768, which is a correlation of 76.8%. And it relates the personal competencies of the teacher whose r = 0.593 is a correlation of 59.3%. Competencies from institutional management have an r = 0.543 which is 54.3%. Communication management competencies have a significant relationship whose r = 0.638, which is 63.8%. It is important to take these correlations into ac...

Our objective is to describe the problem of the pedagogical evaluation in the educational centers of the basic level of Peru, which has been confused with the quantitative measurement, evaluating means assigning passing or disapproving grades. Teachers confuse it with the application of written exams in a given period, written exams are rooted in the pedagogical practice of Peruvian teachers, the matter is aggravated because teachers do not use assessment instruments, and above all they persist in their traditional evaluative practice, they do not understand that in the current moments of educational changes, an evaluation by competencies is proposed, which means to vary the classic way of evaluating. The methodology used was bibliographic research, whose support was the theoretical review of texts on educational evaluation. The conclusions we reached were that the evaluation as a traini...

The flow of a laminar fluid that filters through a porous medium is considered. This behavior leads to the formulation of a mathematical model that, through the Baiocchi transformation, allows it to be expressed as a free boundary problem. In this we wish to evaluate the pressure gradient of the fluid in the medium. The present work consists of the following: i) variational formulation of the problem il) study ofthe existence and uniqueness of the solution and iii) numerical resolution of the problem ofgenerated convex minimization. To find the numerical solution of the variational inequality, the Finite Element method and the Uzawa algorithm have been used.In the numerical simulation of the dam problem, the domain has been consideredof computational calculation, a rectangular IR geometry, assuming as known boundaries, the impermeable zone, the one in contact with the air and the one tha...

The objective of the research was to provide a new perspective to the profile of the university evaluator, with better alternatives, purposes, and scientific-academic scope. We know that the profile of the university evaluator must meet high academic and social requirements to achieve a better educational system consistent with the social environment. However, the problem is that few evaluators are properly trained to carry out a task that involves the scientific measurement of the processes of the university community. Consequently, we propose as a thesis to redefine the work of the university evaluator with clearly marked values and visions for a systematic academic advance. The research methodology has followed the analytical-reflexive qualitative approach. It is concluded that the university evaluator must be predisposed to change from methods, forms, and practices that give a ...

The analysis of the mathematical performance of the students favors the adjustment and individualization of the educational processes for this area of learning. Due to its relevance in daily life, the teacher must bear in mind the functionality and transfer of mathematical learning. The generalization of research that combines theory and practice is essential. In this sense, there are few studies at the curriculum level for mathematics related to the education of gifted and/or mathematically talented students. Thus, it becomes pertinent to analyze such mathematical skills and the factors in which these students stand out. The purpose of this study is to analyze the types of mathematical reasoning and representations based on problem-solving tasks expressed by gifted students on an educational level with a good performance in the area of Mathematics. Forty-two students were evaluated as g...

This work describes and evaluates the application of a module to increase the specific abilities set in action when students resolve math problems. Such abilities are: analyzing the problem, identifying and laying out strategies, applying algorithms and revising the process that leads to the solution. The module presents problems solved by the teacher (modelling strategies) and uses the work of peers in order to consolidate and evaluate the work. The study uses a quasi experimental design with two pre defined groups, pre and post test. The sample was not probabilistic and was formed by 70 students. A test with 10 math problems was used as the instrument meant for the students to use the four strategies suggested in the module. Results show a difference in favor of the experimental group, which allows us to conclude that the module has an influence in the evaluated abilities.
