This work describes and evaluates the application of a module to increase the specific abilities set in action when students resolve math problems. Such abilities are: analyzing the problem, identifying and laying out strategies, applying algorithms and revising the process that leads to the solution. The module presents problems solved by the teacher (modelling strategies) and uses the work of peers in order to consolidate and evaluate the work. The study uses a quasi experimental design with two pre defined groups, pre and post test. The sample was not probabilistic and was formed by 70 students. A test with 10 math problems was used as the instrument meant for the students to use the four strategies suggested in the module. Results show a difference in favor of the experimental group, which allows us to conclude that the module has an influence in the evaluated abilities.

This paper presents the preliminary results of a pilot experiment in which prospective elementary school teachers have to solve arithmetic problems from elementary school textbooks related to the use of fractions through a technological environment. The main objective of the experiment, in addition to assessing the knowledge of the future teachers, is to measure the performance of the students based on the type of feedback received after answering multiple choice questions. The data collected allow us to verify the positive impact of using messages with aids compared to using only correct or error messages. On the other hand, we consolidate a methodology to use the measurement of student reading time provided by the technological environment as a proxy to determine the complexity of verbal problems.

En la presente revisión, y apoyándonos en nuestra experiencia en el Hospital Comarcal de Jaca, intentaremos poner de relieve y discutir los beneficios y los problemas que generan las unidades de cirugía sin ingreso. Analizaremos los distintos tipos de programas ambulatorios y los modelos de unidad quirúrgica, mostrando sus ventajas e inconvenientes. Por último, intentaremos proponer diversas líneas para mejorar la calidad ofertada, la satisfacción del usuario y la relación coste / efectividad de los procesos quirúrgicos.

El presente artículo constituye una revisión bibliográfica descriptiva sobre el uso del Aprendizaje Basado en Problemas (ABP) en la educación superior durante los últimos cinco años, abarcando el período comprendido entre 2017 y 2021. El objetivo principalde esta revisión fue realizar un análisis bibliométrico que permitiera establecer las definiciones, ventajas y aplicaciones del ABP en diversas áreas del conocimiento. A partir de ello, se buscó contrastar la información disponible y reflexionar sobre cómo esta estrategia puede ser incorporada de manera efectiva en el ámbito universitario. The article deals with the application of Vygotsky's sociocultural theory of learning in solving the problem of learning difficulties in mathematics. First, the educational problem is identified and described, then, with Vygotsky's theory of the transition from the zone of real development to the zone of proximal development, it is propounded how the teacher can achieve this transition in the addition operation learning in children. It is necessary for the teacher to use instruments for the diagnosis of the zone of real development and for planning the zones of proximal development in the mathematics learning. The teacher should not pass to the next zone of proximal development if he has not achieved that the student converts into a zone of real development the previous zone of proximal development. The natural activation of sphalerite during flotation of lead is mainly related to the contamination of lead concentrate. The high content of zinc in the lead concentrate receives economic sanctions by higher refining costs, plus zinc content decreases in its flotation circuit. This research has been conducted on five samples of different minerals to identify the probable causes activation of natural sphalerite. The results indicate that the causes are intergrowths Mineralogical between lead and zinc, and the presence of soluble salts of Cu2 +. The ferrous ions and ferric Fe2 + Fe3 + did not show a significant effect on the activation of sphalerite.

The main objective of the previous investigation was to know the degree of relationship between the problem-based learning and metacognition in students from the civil engineering at private university of Lima. To achieve this objective, it was necessary to include a population analysis. It’s a quantitative research, non-experimental design, correlational descriptive. It was assisted by 200 students as an analysis unit, the sample consisted of 126 students. Data were collected interviewing by simple random, processing data with the SPSS software 22 version.
