El objetivo general del presente estudio fue determinar la relación entre el aprendizaje basado en problemas y la metacognición en estudiantes de la facultad de ingeniería civil de la Universidad Católica Sedes Sapientiae, Lima, 2019. Para llegar al objetivo, se hizo un análisis respectivo de la población a estudiar. Para realizar la investigación, se contó con una población de 200 estudiantes como unidad de análisis, obteniendo una muestra de 126 estudiantes, en donde se recogió los datos encuestando de manera aleatoria simple, procesando los datos en el software SPSS versión 22. The main objective of the previous investigation was to know the degree of relationship between the problem-based learning and metacognition in students from the civil engineering at private university of Lima. To achieve this objective, it was necessary to include a population analysis. It’s a quantitative research, non-experimental design, correlational descriptive. It was assisted by 200 students as an analysis unit, the sample consisted of 126 students. Data were collected interviewing by simple random, processing data with the SPSS software 22 version.
