The purpose was to prove the power of retention through the case study method. In order to measure the level of retention, the same test was given three and six months after classes ended. Student satisfaction through the case study method was considered a secondary dependent variable. The quasi experimental design pretest and posttest was applied with intact groups. The analysis unit consisted of an experimental group and a control group of students of the School of Education of San Marcos University (Universidad San Marcos) who are currently enrolled in the course “Methodology of Educational Research I”.

This paper aimed to study the effect of education based on concept map on the academic achievement of secondary school male students in the field of thinking and media literacy. Quasi-experimental research method was used with experimental and control groups. Three classrooms were selected by purposive sampling method (one concept map presentation class, one concept map presentation and construction class and one control class) by random arrangement. In the group of presentation and construction (combined), the course materials were presented to the learners in the form of a concept map. The experimental groups were trained separately for 8 sessions by the teacher-made and combined concept map method and the control group was trained by the traditional method. The objective was to determine how competency-based learning improves the academic performance of the History of Peru course in the students of the 1st cycle of the Law School of the University of Huánuco. El síndrome de Cushing es un trastorno endocrino que causa infertilidad anovulatoria secundaria a hipercortisolismo; por lo tanto, el embarazo rara vez ocurre durante su curso. Presentamos el caso de una mujer de 24 años, gestante de 16 semanas, con aumento de peso no intencionado de 10 meses de evolución, giba dorsal, comedones no pruriginosos, hirsutismo y caída del cabello. Las investigaciones bioquímicas, hormonales y ecográficas iniciales revelaron hipopotasemia, aumento de la cortisolemia nocturna y una masa suprarrenal derecha. This paper describes the remote control and access to a FPGA development board for the verification of designs and practical applications applied in the topics of digital electronics courses for undergraduate Engineering students. The board used is a DE1 from Altera in which it was connected to a microcontroller through its GPIO in order to generate input stimuli or impulses by controlling its buttons and pushbuttons. Through a graphical interface generated and loaded on the screen, you can manipulate these buttons and pushbuttons as if it were done on the board itself. The changes are visualized through a web camera connected to the computer and pointing to the development board. Test results show that designs made using the IDE of QUARTUS II can be successfully verified and tested on the board remotely. Complete compilation and remote-control times are around 8 to 9 seconds.

This paper analyzes how the centenary of Trujillo (1920) developed during the first years of the Legislative government, where its notorious institutional reforms and the approach to the «Patria Nueva» conditioned its approach, course and reception. For this, it will be based on informative reports, journalistic comments and official speeches to understand the scope of the legal project in the festive proposal, public participation and interest in one hundred years of Trujillo’s independence.
