This paper is intended to give a synchronic description of the phonological processes suffered by the occlusive segments in coda position at the inner part of the word in the Spanish of Lima. In addition, the descriptive part of the research will be supported by acoustic data that may be evidenced throughout the work. For this purpose the Praat program was used (acoustic analysis). On the other hand, the contrast between the onset and syllabic coda is evidenced from the types ofprocesses that affect each of these positions; for example, the onsets tend to be modified by reinforcement phenomena, while the syllabic codas are modified by weakening processes. In this paper we will present the collection of part of the lexicon related to the manufacturing process of the Peruvian wines in order to achieve a basic understanding of this topic. For data collection, it was considered necessary to develop a questionnaire whose application was carried out in some wineries located in the city of Lima. Once the necessary corpus was collected, it was systematized following different criteria stipulated by the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) in the latest edition of the Dictionary of the Spanish Language.

This article aims to integrate business processes in the field of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs, or PYMES for its acronym in Spanish). The integration will be achieved through the development of web applications based on integration architectures, such as Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web services. The integration of business processes allows companies to join their business objectives, as well as optimize processes based on the concept of service. To achieve an optimal communication between companies and their clients through the services, various web standards were used, including: XML as standard format to describe the data; SOAP as data exchange protocol; WSDL to describe available services; and finally UDDI to publish information and check what web services are available.

In the multivariate analysis of capacity there are many aspects, not even resolved yet, around some indexes such as the non-normality of the data and if the variables of quality are correlated or not. In this work we intend to propose the development of a multivariate capacity index (ICPM, for its acronym in Spanish) that works for both previous cases through simulated data examples. It is worth mentioning that we find a wide performance of the proposed index in comparison with other similar capacity indexes.

The present upgrading work pretends to be a document that allows the delivering of experiences got by the Industrial Engineering Faculty (FII by its acronyms in Spanish) of the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM by its acronyms in Spanish), to obtain the university accreditation. The factor denominated Academic Processes is analyzed specifically, framed as part of the development of the teaching - learning process under the principle of continuous improvement that finally had the effect to be the first school of Industrial Engineering in Peru in being internationally accredited.

This article analyses Wikipedia’s coverage in news from Spanish-speaking digital media. Framing Theory is used to examine how media outlets present Wikipedia in their article headlines. A total of 652 news articles were analyzed from the Factiva database between the years 2013 and 2023. Various analyses were conducted, including the distribution and temporal trends of the news, word frequency and heatmaps, the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) algorithm, and word co-occurrence in content and headlines. Natural language processing and machine learning techniques were applied for topic analysis. Esta Tesis se enfoca en los entrenamientos de tiro de 300 metros con francotiradores. Actualmente, se dispone de dispositivos para estimar la ubicación del impacto de un proyectil en un blanco de tiro, optimizando así el tiempo en los entrenamientos libres. Sin embargo, estos dispositivos no poseen una precisión y exactitud óptimas, debido a que su diseño está basado en un modelamiento ideal, utilizando un valor constante de 343 m/s para la velocidad del sonido, lo cual es inexacto. The following research shows the elaboration and validation of a computational model designed to detect Spanish speakers’ moods from answers entered by these users in text format. It was used the Keyword Spotting Technique (KST) for text treatment, and Sentiment Analysis based on only Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts for text analysis. A mobile application with chatbot interface and a bot that invites the user to give details about their mood through questions validated by an expert, are the tools used to collect all the conversations. As a result of the pilot test of 30 conversations, and after the final test in the sample of 49 conversations, there is a correct classification of 70% of the cases, as well as a proposal for the treatment of texts in Spanish.

The goal of this article is to analyze the degree of maturity in the digital transformation of the public relations and communication departments of the companies with the highest turnover that belong to the Spanish Association of Communication Directors-Dircom by applying the model for digital transformation proposed by Westerman, Bonnet and McAfee (2012), based on the vectors of leadership and digital capacity. For this purpose, a questionnaire was sent to those responsible for communication of this type of companies. Deep learning methods can be applied to generate predictive models. We worked with the gross domestic product (GDP) of six Latin American countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru, using annual and quarterly macroeconomic indicators from the World Bank and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), respectively. For the pre-processing of the data, we decomposed the quarterly series into trend, seasonality, and residual and used them as additional characteristics to provide more information to the models.
