The certification of labor competencies in Mexico promotes the evidence of performance by those who perform specific functions, showing the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities, regardless of the way in which they have perfected them. In this regard, a qualitative data analysis research was developed to recognize and establish relationships, interpret, extract meanings and conclusions about the competency standard EC1319, “Conference Interpretation of Mexican Sign Language <> Spanish”.
