The study focuses on the perception by children, parents, teachers and principals of educational institutions of the three rural regions of Peru about the implementation of the One laptop per child programme. It identifi es basic economic, social and cultural defi ciencies within the population as an obstacle to benefi t from the technological resource and points out the State’s inadequate administrative management. In conclusion, more democratic practices are needed with an emphasis on the pedagogical aspect in order to improve rural education in Peru.

This paper presents an experience in teaching innovation whose goal is to improve learning in engineering students and teachers (University of Seville, Spain). This innovation offers students a realistic, professional and updated vision of the contents, allowing them a direct contact with the problems posed by the knowledge and competence inherent to a subject, using facilities and resources at a high-tech research laboratory. It is an assessment-research case study that uses quantitative and qualitative methodologies. The results show improvement in the students’ learning processes as well as their high satisfaction; it also highlights the difficulties found. The teachers acknowledge this innovation process as a strategy to learn to teach and create improvements for the program.

La investigación pretende analizar los efectos de la aplicación de un programa de entrenamiento en escritura en el idioma inglés a través del desarrollo de la competencia de expresión escrita mediante el enfoque orientado en el proceso, en los estudiantes de Idiomas Extranjeros de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación y Humanidades de la Universidad Nacional de la Amazonia Peruana – Iquitos, Perú. Para ello, se dividió la clase Composición en Inglés, de 46 alumnos, en dos grupos: experimental y de control. Al primer grupo se le aplico el programa propuesto y el segundo grupo siguió con el contenido tradicional de la asignatura. Finalmente, el estudio presenta los resultados obtenidos en ambos grupos al finalizar el semestre.

Objetive: To establish a model of learning evaluation system to ensure the development of those established in the curriculum of the human medicine program of the Universidad Nacional del Santa. Methods: The methodology used was basic, descriptive and quantitative, and the instrument used was a questionnaire, which was applied to a sample of 179 medical students and 76 teachers. Data collection was performed with informed consent through an online Google form, which included 30 items, based on 4 stages: evaluation planning, evaluation stage, evaluation techniques and instruments, and evaluation system model. Pollution and environmental deterioration have become the biggest problems in the contemporary world and constitute the thematic reference to be addressed by the educational field. The objective of the research was to propose an educational program to improve environmental awareness in children at the initial level. A qualitative methodology was determined by interviewing teachers and directors, whose perceptions were optimally triangulated. La investigación tiene por determinar si el programa Jolly Phonics mejora la pronunciación del idioma Inglés en los estudiantes de inicial del Jardín Juan Pablo II. Para ello, primero se realiza un análisis teórico de las metodologías de enseñanza del idioma inglés, a la vez que se explica en que consiste el método Jolly Phonics. Seguidamente, se desarrolla la evaluación aplicando este método a niños de 5 años del jardín Juan Pablo II, esta evaluación se dan en dos partes un test antes y después de aplicar el método en clases. Finalmente, los resultados del programa fueron satisfactorios y significativos y están expresados en los resultados del post test en las diferentes dimensiones en las que fueron evaluados (Pronunciación, articulación y fluidez).

In this study we revisit the impact of conditional cash transfers (CCTs) on child development, with an emphasis on the role of the age of exposure. We use longitudinal data from a unique paired-siblings sample of Peruvian children (the Young Lives study) to evaluate whether Juntos, a large-scale CCT implemented in Peru since 2005, has a greater effect on children who benefited from the programme during the first three years of life compared with its impact on those children who benefited between the ages of 5 and 7. To deal with programme selection we apply child fixed-effects methods. We find that exposure to the programme leads to a reduction in severe stunting and an improvement in height-for-age – but only for those exposed during the first three years of life. El objetivo de la investigación realizada consistió en demostrar la eficacia del programa “Pequemociones” en el desarrollo de la conciencia emocional de los estudiantes de segundo grado de educación primaria. La investigación responde al enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo tecnológica. Se empleó el diseño cuasi-experimental. La población estuvo representada por 48 alumnos de segundo grado de educación primaria de una institución educativa parroquial de San Juan de Miraflores. El programa social de transferencias condicionadas de efectivo, programa Juntos, se implementó en el 2005 con el objetivo de reducir la pobreza extrema en las comunidades rurales más vulnerables. En el Perú, el rostro de la pobreza es indígena de acuerdo con el último censo del 2017. Después de 17 años, solo una minoría de grupos indígenas que viven en comunidades indígenas, 6.65%, acceden al programa. La presente investigación tuvo como propósito verificar los efectos del programa educativo “Búsqueda de la Excelencia” en proactividad y resiliencia de estudiantes del segundo grado de educación secundaria de una institución educativa privada de Surco – Lima. El estudio empleó un diseño cuasi experimental, denominado diseño de medidas repetidas pretest – intervención – postest con grupo de control.
