La presente investigación es de tipo instrumental, el objetivo principal es adaptar la Escala Hospitalaria de Ansiedad y Depresión (HADS) en pacientes oncológicos del Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas (INEN), se evaluó a 475 pacientes entre los 18 y 84 años. Se determinaron evidencias de validez basadas en el contenido de la prueba con índices altamente significativos (p<.01) y significativos (p<.05), logrando realizar la adecuación contextual para la población objetivo; se evaluó la estructura interna de la prueba mediante AFE y AFC reafirmando la existencia de 2 subescalas (ansiedad y depresión) con 14 ítems; sin embargo se plantea un modelo diferente de 2 factores eliminando los ítems 7 y 8 con mejores índices de ajuste global, parsimonia y ajuste comparativo; ambos modelos presentan adecuados coeficientes de fiabilidad por consistencia interna (ω y α) sup...

“Background This study aims to describe the training ofered and the availability of professionals required by the Ministry of Health for mental health problems management in the community. Methods A cross-sectional study was carried out on the training ofered in mental health in Peruvian universities. A search for programs was conducted using the University Information System database and universities’ websites, as well as using the Ministry of Health’s database on health personnel and data on the number of enrolled and current students provided by the University Information System database and the Transparency section of the universities. Results There were 214 undergraduate, 55 specialty and 7 subspecialty programmes, of which 39%, 47% and 100%, respectively, were ofered in the capital city.
