Desde hace más de tres décadas se utiliza la evaluación de la labor docente basada en la percepción de los alumnos. Considerado como uno de los modelos con mayor historia y utilización en las instituciones. Este artículo trata de identificar el concepto de buen profesor universitario de acuerdo con las características psicológicas valoradas por los alumnos. Para ello se llevó a cabo un estudio longitudinal cuantitativo que investigó una muestra de más de 6000 estudiantes, de manera repetida, a lo largo de un período de 10 años. The task of the university professor is a mission and not simply a profession and that is why higher education should be impregnated with values. Nowadays education is articulated into three areas: the State, the Market and the Volunteering, but no one of these three sectors by themselves has covered the needs of all the citizens, there have always been losers, therefore the conjunction of the three sectors became necessary. Communitarianism promotes an ethical-social pact that favors the progress of society without nullifying the individual dimension. It believes that the university is the space where a communitarian consciousness should be promoted to generate a social capital by means of education and it is a privilege place to substantiate the moral identity of the person beginning with the commitment of the professor with the university student.

This research was carried out with the objective of analyzing the relationship between the evaluation of the university professor and the satisfaction of recognition needs. It is a non-experimental inductive study, of a descriptive and correlational type of mixed approach. The sample consisted of a total of 28 professors from the English area of the main campus of a Private University of Lima, in the 2018- II cycle, using a probabilistic sampling for convenience. The questionnaire was conducted as an instrument and the survey as a technique. La vida laboral en el siglo XXI se caracteriza por una gran demanda de recursos físicos, psicológicos y emocionales a los profesionales que ofrecen un servicio en constante interacción con otras personas, por ejemplo: los profesores. The purpose of this study was to understand how reflection on practice contributes to the teacher training of Chilean university professors. The research was a qualitative type based on the narrative method, and the technique applied was the semi-structured interview. 30 professors from two universities in Chile were interviewed. The main results lead to clarify that the reflection on the teaching practice represents a favorable route for the teacher's training. In particular, three critical aspects that from the voice of the participants contribute to teacher training are recognized: reflections on teaching practice; reflection from dialogue with peers and experts; and reflection on the practice that emerges from the interaction with the students themselves. This study aims to know how the training processes of practicing teachers contribute to the construction of beliefs about teaching at the university. Froma qualitative methodology with agrounded theory approach, professors from public and private universities were selected through theoretical sampling. In-depth interviews were conducted to collect data whichwere analytically coded. The teacher's work and practice in the classroom provide us with information about the mathematical workspaces that the mathematics teacher provides. In this research report we reflect on the ideal Mathematical Workspace (MWS) of a university professor. The ideal MWS is concerned with studying the mathematical activity that the teacher promotes in the classroom when working on a class session on the subject of the derivative. Based on the case study method as a valuable research tool, which records the teacher's behavior involved in the studied phenomenon.

According to the Comisión Económica para América Latina (CEPAL), 32 countries closed schools disturbing the life of more than 165 millions students and, of course professors also. To find out how educators felt during the pandemic period, several questionnaires can be used: Effort-Rewards Imbalance, Engagement, Burnout syndrome and Perceived Physical and Mental Health. However, before reaching this knowledge, it was necessary to determine the construct and differential validity of instruments in a sample of 353 Peruvian teachers. The results indicate that the mentioned tests have construct validity, as well as the differential one validity.

Este estudio se llevó a efecto en cinco preparatorias del noreste mexicano, donde el 79.5% de los estudiantes fueron del sector de marginación “bajo” y, las escuelas de procedencia no eran de las mejores de la región. Objetivo: Conocer las características de profesores que influyen en la disminución de la Desigualdad Normalizada en escuelas preparatorias del noreste mexicano. Social well-being is the assessment of social functioning, which plays a key role in mental health. In the school context, teachers and school staff can promote students’ well-being, but it is related to their own. To assess their social well-being, the Keyes social well-being scale was adapted to the school context. Psychometric properties were analyzed in 899 teachers and school staff in Valparaíso, Chile. The results suggest that 22 items are suitable for use, showing good fit to the data. Smaller school size and school participation are associated with higher social well-being. The adapted scale can be a useful tool to measure socio-affective variables of adults in the school community.

El artículo trata sobre la desconexión digital como derecho del docente universitario que asume el rol de investigador en las ciencias de la salud. El objetivo del estudio consistió en determinar la importancia de la desconexión digital para el bienestar del docente investigador universitario peruano del área de ciencias de la salud. Esta investigación fue planteada desde el método fenomenológico hermenéutico, el mismo que permitió obtener como resultados que la familia y la investigación científica son pilares esenciales para el docente investigador. Se concluyó que la desconexión digital es un derecho del profesional a su descanso diario y tranquilidad que protege la salud mental.

Behavioral problems in the classroom have a negative impact on the emotional well-being of students, as well as on the learning process and classroom climate. This study aimed to describe the behavioral problems observed in the classroom, according to teachers' reports. A questionnaire created for this study was answered by 55 teachers, (female = 70,9% and men = 29,1%), among five schools of Chillán, Chile. Teachers indicated that among the behavioral problems, non-compliance behavior is observed with frequency (43,6%). This study is a starting point for future investigation on this topic, that addresses regional and national phenomena.

The didactic book represents one of the main working tools for the teacher throughout the teaching and learning process.
