This study develops and empirically validates an integrated conceptual model that investigates the causal relationships among Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Jidoka, and economic sustainability (ECSU) within the manufacturing industry. Based on Resource and Capability Theory as well as Systems Theory, the model posits that TPM directly influences both jidoka and ECSU, while jidoka acts as a mediator in the relationship between TPM and ECSU. Utilizing structural equation modeling (SEM-PLS) and data collected from 357 surveys of the maquiladora industry in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, the analysis confirms that TPM positively affects jidoka (β=,632, p<0,001) and ECSU (β=0,340, p<0,001). The present study aims at adapting psychometric Assessment Battery Revised Readers Processes (PROLEC-R). The Battery applied linguistics and pictographically adapted to a group of 504 students from 14 educational institutions in metropolitan Lima, 7 from private institutions and 7 public institutions of both sexes. Such analysis indicated that scores of PROLEC-R adapted to be reliable, calculated by the method of internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha) for sub test and total. Also validates evidence of the content (expert opinion), criterion (concurrent validity) and construct (confirmatory factor analysis).

This proposal aims to improve the efficiency of the packaging process of a company specialized in seasonings and ground foods through the application of the Lean Manufacturing approach. To carry out this study, data was collected from a Peruvian company, which was evaluated using a simulated validation model in the Arena version 16.1 program. This process included the participation of experts in the relevant areas, ensuring significant results for potential implementation. The results obtained indicated a significant reduction from 7.5% to 0.08% in the generation of defective products per production. In addition, production times were reduced in tasks related to the packaging line of one of its products. This study evaluates the application of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Lean methodologies in the Peruvian agricultural sector, focusing on asparagus packing operations. To this end, it develops an innovative model with the objective of increasing the productivity of asparagus packing, one of the main problems of the Peruvian agricultural industry. Through the application of an autonomous and preventive maintenance strategy, it seeks to eliminate untimely stops in the asparagus processing line. This research proposes a production model capable of increasing the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) using the methodology Lean Manufacturing and TPM. The case study is a company in the livestock industry where the 4 phases of the model were implemented. The first phase is the implementation of the Poka-Yoke tool. Then follows the implementation of the MRP. After that, the implementation of a preventive maintenance plan and the last phase is implementing the 5’s tool. After validation in the Arena software and the simulation of the implemented production model, it is shown that the OEE indicator increases by 15.69%, managing to achieve a productivity improvement.

Objective. The objective of the current study was to evaluate critical nutrients of industrialized foods and compare them with the technical parameters established in the Peruvian regulations, in its two stages of implementation, referring to front-of-package labeling before the beginning of its validity in June 2019. Methods. Cross-sectional study in which the critical nutrients of sodium, total sugar, saturated fat and transfat were analyzed from data declared in the nutritional labels of 511 processed and ultra-processed foods that were part of the products purchased for the consumption of 88 families of students from one private university in Lima. In this paper, we present a novel system that combines process discovery and conformance checking to optimize resource usage in the operations area of banking companies. Our proposed system improves upon previous solutions by integrating real-time process mining techniques to reduce resource consumption in banking operations. A relevant aspect influencing inclusive practices is teachers' attitudes and predispositions toward diversity. Understanding their opinions on these issues requires validated, reliable, and appropriate instruments for use in early childhood education. This study describes the adaptation, validation, and reliability process of the instrument for the Opinion Scale on Inclusive Education developed by Bravo and Cardona (2013). This study includes content validation conducted with a team of expert judges, which allowed for the updating of some terms and adaptations of the items to the context. Currently, in various fields, the demonstration of soft skills by individuals is highly valued, which is why university training processes must aim to enhance these skills among students. In this regard, a cross-sectional analytical study was developed under a holistic approach, aiming to analyze the alignment between university teaching practices and the promotion of students' soft skills. A survey-type instrument was created to capture students' perceptions regarding this relationship. It is necessary to evaluate the virtual class environments that have been generated by the COVID-19 pandemic. In view of this, the objective was to design and validate a scale for the use of virtual academic media. The study is of an instrumental type, where the sample was conformed by 582 Peruvian university students. The scale was conformed by 10 items distributed in 2 dimensions. Objetive: To determine the validity of the diameter of the optic nerve sheath by ultrasound for the diagnosis of intracranial hypertension in patients with severe traumatic brain injury.
