The main objective of the research was to determine the differences in the spatial notion in 5-year old children of a public educational institution and a private educational institution. The study refers to the notions of space in the framework of a constructive and relational process with its environment. It is a quantitative methodology, non-experimental design, comparative and transactional descriptive level. We worked with a sample of 105 5-year-old children using an observation guide as a data collection instrument that was duly validated and has high reliability. After data collection and statistical analysis, it is concluded that there are differences in the spatial notion in 5-year-old children of a Public Educational Institution and a Private Educational Institution, Lima - 2019. With a value of significance <0.005 according to the U-test. Mann Whitney.

Observatorio Andino (OA) was established in 2008 by The Centro de Modelado Científico (CMC) in collaboration with Climate information applied to agricultural risk management in the Andean countries (CIIFEN). The OA main goal is to provide a collaborative network that ultimately increases the efficiency of the decision-making processes, especially in terms of getting more accurate forecasts and exchanging experiences on data, information, and scientific products, all of which is done with a standardized methodology and a Web-sharing service. This pedagogical experience with first-year architecture students focused on the creation of Light–Sound Sculptures as a means to explore spatial perception through multisensory processes. The objective was to translate musical abstraction into three-dimensional compositions, integrating form, sound, and light within a synesthetic proposal. The qualitative and experimental methodology, applied to a cohort of 20 students, was based on the analysis of a selected musical piece, transferring its attributes (expressivity, timbre and sound color, form and structure, rhythm and tempo, melody, harmony, silence and space, text and message, style and genre, as well as cultural and historical context, and listener impact) into the design of a sculptural object. Understanding the spatial distribution of prostate cancer and how it changes according to prostate specific antigen (PSA) values, Gleason score, and other clinical parameters may help comprehend the disease and increase the overall success rate of biopsies. This work aims to build 3D spatial distributions of prostate cancer and examine the extent and location of cancer as a function of independent clinical parameters. The border of the gland and cancerous regions from whole-mount histopathological images are used to reconstruct 3D models showing the localization of tumor. The backscatter coefficient (BSC) is an intrinsic property that quantifies the amount of energy that is reflected by a material as function of the ultrasound wave frequency. BSCs have been proposed for decades for tissue characterization, along with quantitative ultrasound (QUS) parameters derived from BSCs that have been used to construct images that represent how these properties vary spatially. The availability of formulations based on weakly focusing conditions has resulted in a widespread use of large focal number transducers for BSC estimation. The use of highly focused transducers offers the possibility of improving the spatial resolution of BSC-based imaging. The model by Chen et al. This study developed a model based on Support Vector Machines (SVM) and Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) time series to classify citrus areas in Álamo, Veracruz, Mexico. MODIS images (MOD13Q1, 250 m resolution) from 2003 to 2022 were used, processed using radiometric correction, noise filtering, and temporal harmonization. Training areas were classified into four categories: citrus, natural vegetation, grasslands, and urban areas, using 3,759 time series, 50 % of which were positive for citrus. The SVM model (RBF kernel: γ = 0.1, C = 10) achieved an accuracy of 91.4 % using 5-fold cross-validation, with 88% success in citrus and 93.9 % in non-citrus samples. The objective of this work is the estimation of the temperature of the sea surface in the Eastern Pacific Ocean of the Southern Hemisphere from the images of the meteorological satellite of polar orbit NOAA-14 (National Administration of Atmospheric Oceanography). Los métodos numéricos de alto orden, necesarios para la discretización espacial, son una de las áreas más activas del campo de la dinámica de fluidos computacional (CFD en sus siglas en inglés). Dentro de estos, los Métodos de Volúmenes Finitos (MVF) han encontrado difcultades en la implementación de los procesos de reconstrucción. En el presente trabajo presentamos e implementamos en Python un novedoso proceso de reconstrucción compacto de alto orden propuesto por Q. Wang [22].
