Adolescence is a critical period where social skills play an important role in the personal performance of each individual, for which the family plays a fundamental role in the development and consolidation of these social skills. The article aims to identify the relationship between social skills in adolescents and family functionality. Quantitative research method, descriptive - correlational type; With a population of 726 and a sample of 251 students from first to fifth year of high school, it was carried out using stratified random probability sampling. This paper presents the contributions of the first stage of the investigation«Theories and challenges in teacher education in Mexico,» which analyzes aspart of the transition from the current educational reform mastery of teachingskills of teachers. The aim of this study was to identify the education and trainingof teachers of primary and secondary higher state of Tlaxcala to develop theirteaching skills and education. The research was conducted with a cross-cuttingdescriptive quantitative methodology, were surveyed 346 teachers from the threeeducational levels. In the results it is emphasized that a considerable number ofteachers lack pedagogical training and acquire specific skills for the exercise of theteaching function.

In Mexico, a high percentage of young people experience symptoms of generalized anxiety, which are associated with difficulties in executive functions (EF). However, previous studies have shown inconsistent results, as they often rely solely on either objective or subjective measures. Therefore, this study focused on analyzing the relationship between generalized anxiety and EF using both a neuropsychological battery and a self-report questionnaire, in order to provide a more comprehensive understanding of cognitive functioning in adolescents. Objective: To evaluate the quality of life, social support, daily living skills, and level of restrictions, as well as the correlations among these variables in individuals with severe mental disorders residing in protected homes in Peru. Method: A cross-sectional descriptive-correlational study was conducted in 48 protected homes across 21 regions, with a population of 183 residents. A questionnaire was used that included sociodemographic data and four scales: Social support (MOS), Basic everyday living skills (BELS), Mezzich's Quality of Life Index, and the Restrictive Practices Scale. La presente investigación se llevó a cabo con el objetivo general el determinar la relación entre la autoestima y habilidades sociales en estudiantes del nivel secundario de una Institución Educativa Pública, Mollendo, 2025. Contando con una muestra de 215 estudiantes de secundaria (111 hombres y 104 mujeres) con edades entre los 14 a 17 años, pertenecientes a una Institución Educativa pública en el distrito de Mollendo. El propósito del presente estudio fue analizar la influencia del Facebook en el uso de la comunicación escrita en los estudiantes del quinto año de secundaria de la Institución Educativa Augusto B. “The objective of the research was to evaluate the consistency of different training proposals, proposing as a reference a competency-based curriculum planning model. Qualitative methodology was used from an interpretive paradigm, making use of inductive and deductive analysis at the same time. Inductively, observations were generated through documentary analysis, interviews with experts, and a focus group with university professors, who then deductively derived interpretations and forecasts regarding curricular planning.
