Sumario:The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of Facebook on the use of written communication in fifth-year high school students of the Augusto B. Leguía Educational Institution in the Puente Piedra district, in the year 2023. In the methodology, the type of research according to its function is basic, with a correlational scope, using a non-experimental design. The technique used for the variables is the survey and the instrument the questionnaire on a population of 226 students with a sample of 68 students in the fifth year of the secondary level of regular basic education. The results were shown from the statistical analysis, with a frequency table and graphs and the inferential analysis through Spearman's Rho to determine if there is a relationship between the variables that were associated, supported by the IBM SPSS Statistics software. The main conclusion determines that 50.7% use Facebook moderately and 71% have an expected level of achievement, in written communication; the hypothesis test demonstrates a significance level of 0.001 and a significant positive correlation of 0.376 between the use of Facebook and written communication skills.
