Al ingresar a una educación superior, los jóvenes deben lograr una adaptación universitaria, desarrollando competencias imprescindibles para hacer frente a diversos retos evitando así problemas de salud emocional (Cuamba, 2020). Se buscó entonces con este estudio el determinar la correlación existente entre el bienestar psicológico y dificultades en la regulación emocional en alumnos de tercer ciclo de la escuela profesional de psicología de una universidad privada en Lima. La presente investigación es de tipo empírico cuantitativo con diseño correlacional simple. La muestra fue formada por 195 universitarios, haciendo uso del muestreo no probabilístico, de la cual 146 (74.9%) fueron mujeres y 49 (25.1%) hombres. Las herramientas que se emplearon han sido la Escala de Bienestar Psicológico para adultos (BIEPS-A) y la Escala de Dificultades en la Regulación Emocional (DERS)...

 The pandemic caused by the new coronavirus (COVID-19) has generated a radical change in the teaching method of basic education teachers, as they have become possible victims of the Burnout syndrome due to the overload of functions. This article aims to review this reality in the current literature, although the number of articles on the subject is limited. The purpose of this research is to provide a broader overview of the mental health situation of basic education teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic and try to propose some alternative solutions, including enhancing coping skills and improving remote workplace dynamics
