Objective: to adapt and analyze the psychometric properties of the Sense of Coherence Scale (SOC- 29). Methodology: the research is classified as a psychometric instrumental study, non-experimental, cross-sectional design, quantitative approach and non-probabilistic sampling. The study population consists of 500 university students to whom the survey was conducted virtually. The instrument     has 15 items distributed in 3 dimensions: understandability, manageability and significance, with a dichotomous response type. To analyze the validity of the content, the expert judgment criteria were applied, with the collaboration of 8 judges who evaluated the clarity, context, congruence and mastery of the construct. Results: an Aiken V index V= 0.91 was obtained, an internal consistency by total Cronbach's alpha of 0.702, which shows that the instrument is reliable. The conf...

Background: The sense of capability scale, originally validated in French university students (Drouin & Costalat-Founeau, 2020), measures people’s subjective representation of their own capacities and theirperceptions of what others think about them. The aim of this study is to adapt the scale for university students in Lima, Peru and to analyze its psychometric properties. Method: 516 students from a private university completed the questionnaire. Factor analysis and correlations were used to determine evidence of validity. Cronbach’s alpha and McDonald’s omega were used to evaluate reliability. Results: Contrary to the original 2-factor structure, our results suggested a single-factor solution that explained 52% of the variance; the items had high loadings. The model was confirmed by a best fit (χ2 = 362.84; df = 35; p < .001; CFI = .99; TLI = .98; SRMR = .06; RMSEA = .10...

The study analyses the psychometric properties of the Reasons for Living Inventory for Young Adults (RFL-YA) in a group of 368 university students from Lima, Peru, from both sexes and whose ages fluctuate between 16 and 30 years of age. The instruments used were the RFL-YA (Gutiérrez et al., 2002), Antonovsky’s Sense of Coherence Scale (SOC) (1993) and Hert’s Hope Scale (Arnau, Martínez, Niño de Guzmán, Herth & Yoshiyuki, 2010) in order to determine the convergent validity of the RFL-YA. Results show elevated reliability indexes. A 0.93 coefficient for the whole test and a 0.83 and 0.92 for each of the areas of the test. The factorial structure is adequate, and all 5 factors were reproduced with a 63.74% of explained variance. The correlation between the Sense of Coherence Scale and the Hope Scale resulted positive, high and significant, thus confirming the validity and relia...

The study aimed to explore the psychometric properties of research competency scales published in the scientific literature in seven databases: Scopus, Web Of Science, ERIC, Embase, EBSCO, PubMed and SciELO between 2014 and June 2023. Thirteen papers were systematized, where 11 scales were found that measured content validity using indexes such as the S-CVI, Aiken's V and item-test correlations. Similarly, the results of the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) presented adequate fit indices such as CFI, GFI, TLI, SRMR and RMSEA, which validated the factor structure. Reliability was mostly evaluated through Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, yielding high and consistent values. In addition, coefficients such as McDonald's Omega, ordinal Omega, Guttman and Spearman Brown have been used, all reflecting a value above .70 and internal consistency in the measure...

The author claims that, from a general perspective, the economic analysis of infonnation and its relation with law presents a strong inefficiency. The author develops a study ofthe economic incentives in general and the manner how prívate property is constituted as the principal but is not the only one of the economic incentives for the production of information and innovation. In strict sense, the author explores the ontology of property, showing that it does not allow the inclusion of immaterial and intangible goods since the modern fundamentals of such institution come form the appropriation and the homesteading rule, categories incompatible with the ontology of information. Into such argumentation, the author studies the economic incentive theories for information and innovation, initiating with the study of the characters of information and the fallacies that always had surrounded ...

Knowing the taxonomy, mineralogy, and properties of soils is essential to understand their genesis, functionality, and potential use, and it is fundamental for implementing land-use planning and to characterize soil use management systems. The objective of this study was to describe and correlate the taxonomic characteristics (Soil Taxonomy and World Soil Classification), morphological, physicochemical, and mineralogical characteristics of soils in relation to their physiographic position, based on 15 profiles of a toposequence obtaining 81 horizons. It was verified that soil variability was linked to relief; likewise, soil orders ranging from Entisols to Inceptisols were identified according to the Soil Taxonomy classification. While through the World Soil classification, the groups: Fluvisols, Regosols, Umbrisols, Cambisols, and Luvisols were identified. Morphologically, the fluvial so...

The way in which the private property regime is structured often delimits the way in which a society is organized. In the mining aspect, ownership of natural resources is usually the main reason for the proper functioning of the system or endless disputes between native communities and state agencies. In this sense, in order to better understand how the pubic domain system is structured on natural resources in our country, Milagros Mutsios explains in this article the four main public domain theories of natural resources and delves into the various concepts that influence the adoption or operation of each of these.

The Peruvian Amazon faces an increasing threat of soil erosion, driven by unsustainable agricultural practices and accelerated deforestation. In Neshuya (Ucayali region), agricultural activity has intensified since 2014, but the effect on soil erosion is unknown. The present study aimed to evaluate the increase in erosion levels, at a subbasin of the central–eastern Amazon of Peru, in a Geographic Information System (GIS) environment. The revised universal soil loss equation (RUSLE) model was used for assessing the effect of vegetation cover change from 2016 to 2022. In the Neshuya sub-basin (973.4 km2 ), the average erosion increased from 3.87 to 4.55 t ha−1 year−1 , on average. In addition, there is great spatial variability in the values. In addition, 7.65% of the study area (74.52 km2 ) exceeds the soil loss tolerance limit (15 t ha−1 year−1 ). The deforestation rate was 17...

In agricultural systems, soil pH and electrical conductivity (EC) are crucial chemical properties that directly affect nutrient availability and microbial activity, but the challenging environment of the Peruvian Andes has limited research on their estimation. This study aimed to develop an ensemble learning method to predict soil pH and EC in Andean agroecosystems using environmental predictors. By using simple and weighted averaging, we developed a heterogeneous ensemble learning approach that integrates machine learning (ML) algorithms, including Support Vector Machine (SVM), Artificial Neural Network (ANN), Random Forest (RF), and Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost). The weighted ensemble assigns weights to models based on their predictive accuracy, measured by R² from spatial cross-validation. Spatial patterns are noticeable, and pH displays greater spatial clustering than EC. Elev...

This article examines the right to land ownership within the framework of the agrarian regime under the new Peruvian Constitution, focusing on integral agrarian development and the issue of smallholdings. Within this context, it is noted that although the Agrarian Regime prioritizes integral development, without effective agrarian reform, this could favor the wealthiest and perpetuate inequalities, as seen in Peru. In this sense, the author addresses the constitutional protection of property and criticizes the confusion between "right" and "guarantee" in the constitutional text, highlighting the possibility of other forms of private property not prohibited by law. Additionally, emphasis is placed on the social function of land ownership, which entails its use in harmony with social interests, and imposes obligations on the owner beyond neighborhood relations or public interest, such as t...

The paper analyzes the Peruvian marriage regime, addressing its evolution and the legal principles that support it. In this sense, it highlights Article 5 of the Political Constitution of Peru of 1979, which recognizes various forms of marriage, such as civil and religious, but without establishing multiple legal regimes for each. That is, it is argued that the expression “forms” refers to the formalities of the act of celebration of marriage, so it cannot be understood as synonymous with classes or types of marriage. Furthermore, the author discusses the possibility that the Peruvian State may accept different marriage systems based on religious confessions, without this implying a plurality of marriage regimes. Finally, the work highlights the importance of maintaining the juridical unity of marriage and that the legal effects be uniformly regulated by the State.
