In a society in constant growth, banking institutions have been forced to satisfy more and more the needs of their clients. Among the most requested services are the bank loans, particularly those intended for medium and large-sized companies. This study deals with the development of a proposal to improve the evaluation stage of the business banking credit process, this stage has a duration of 12 days, generating cost overruns and multiple sources of waste. The implementation of Lean thinking, Business process management and the use of simulation will be used to achieve the objectives. The results obtained were as expected, demonstrating that by implementing different improvements in certain critical activities, an improvement of 16.12% can be achieved, thus reducing the duration of the stage by 2 days.

This study analyzes the psychometric structure of the CAPE- R scale, which assesses the beliefs about the educational process in rural teachers; explores the teacher´s profile, and analyzes the significant differences between the beliefs according to sociodemographic variables. The sample included 150 rural teachers from Mendoza, Argentina. The exploratory factor analysis yielded a factorial structure made up of four factors that explained a 44.19% of the variance of responses to the test. Internal consistency coefficients ranged from .74 to .85. The data show a predominance of difficulties in the educational process dimension (M=2.83; DE=.69), the only dimension that reached a significant association with the educational level of the classes (F =4.77, p<.05).

This study proposed the design of three brief scales coherent with and contributing to the pedagogical perspective of schoolteachers, aiming to enhance self-regulated learning and psychological well-being of students. With the participation of teachers and other professionals who provided feedback throughout the process, scales for school motivation (ME), frustration tolerance (TF), and school satisfaction (SE) were designed and validated among 1260 students from 7th to 12th grade (57.7% female, mean age M=14.9 years, SD=1.9) belonging to three educational institutions in northern Chile. The tolerant attitudes towards sexual violence against women constitute an important risk factor that should be considered to explain this type of aggressive behavior. One of the instruments that evaluates these attitudes is the Rape Supportive Attitude Scale (RSAS) developed by Lottes. The cities of southern Peru can be understood as urban organisms shaped by the superimposition of historical, social, and territorial layers. This article offers a comparative analysis of the urban structure of Cusco, Arequipa, and Tacna through the typomorphological framework proposed by Gianfranco Caniggia and Gian Luigi Maffei, aiming to identify common patterns in their formative processes. The study applies a qualitative-comparative methodology based on the multiscalar typological process of anthropic space. Results indicate that the urban structure of these cities is influenced by territorial structuring elements, the functions of initial settlements, typical fabrics, and characteristic buildings. The study aimed to explore the psychometric properties of research competency scales published in the scientific literature in seven databases: Scopus, Web Of Science, ERIC, Embase, EBSCO, PubMed and SciELO between 2014 and June 2023. Thirteen papers were systematized, where 11 scales were found that measured content validity using indexes such as the S-CVI, Aiken's V and item-test correlations. Similarly, the results of the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) presented adequate fit indices such as CFI, GFI, TLI, SRMR and RMSEA, which validated the factor structure. Reliability was mostly evaluated through Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, yielding high and consistent values. Strategic consensus is a group process that can be described as the agreement among team members on strategic matters for success at work. The psychometric evidences of the validity of an assessment scale measuring strategic consensus in pedagogic teams are analyzed. Participants were 140 school teachers in Quito (Ecuador). Statistical analyses of the applied scale containing 14 items revealed a uni-dimensional factor structure explaining 49.7% of the variance. The internal consistency of the scale was satisfactory (? = .92; r item-total = .66). Results show that the scale is an useful tool for the diagnosis of the existence of consent among members of pedagogic teams and contributes to a full understanding of the phenomenon.
