BPM is a methodology that is focused mainly on process management, rather than on its results; compared to others such as total quality management (TQM), Lean, Six sigma among others. The purpose of the research study was to develop a process model to improve the management of research projects competing for internal grants in a university context with the Business Process Management SaaS approach. The type of research applied was a quantitative and technological approach because it was proposed to formalize the process supported with an application in the cloud under the BPM SaaS approach. For the development of the research project, the tools of the Bizagi Studio suite were used to design the processes and for the comparison of the results, and an instrument was developed that was validated by experts and applied to representatives of teachers, administrators and students. The main objective of the study consisted of the identification and reintegration of various funerary contexts rescued from Huaca Concha, that were being reorganized and stored by material items in the deposits of the school of archeology. This work also helped identify moments of material collection, responsible for recoveries and especially additional collections of cultural materials relevant to the history and the historical understanding of this archaeological site.

This article analyzes how social policy acts in relation to the elderly’s care service in the context of COVID-19, based on the experience of the Amachay project. It explores how and to what extent the various theoretical approaches to aging process of population are taken into account or left aside in this intervention. Therefore, it is based on the experience developed by a group of young social work students who participated as outreach workers and were in charge of the follow-up and coordination actions for users’ care service. This research yields very interesting results given that it allows to highlight a theoretical discussion from social policy field through the review of its methods, strategies, and field actions from social actors’ perspective, seeking to find clues for better social interventions with the elderly population.

The research proposed to develop scientific learning and research skills, developing in the pre-experimental method. We executed a seeding program with cognitive and cultural exchange in 250 individuals from a Children's Assistance Complex. In this sample, urban schoolchildren (without knowledge of the use of natural resources) and of Andean origin (with knowledge of sowing and harvesting) participated. The experiment was based on the application of four didactic phases: (1) intercultural organization, (2) collaboration for analysis, (3) experimentation, (4) scientific argumentation. We found an increase in scientific learning in the sample and their abilities to formulate problems, formulate hypotheses, argue and formulate results. The proficiency and cognitive interrelation allowed this improvement, being the main contribution of the study to the science area.

This research project entitled aims to determine levels of urban thermal comfort of the City of Puno by the influence of urban settings, open spaces and their environmental context, using the analytical, deductive, and hypothetical method. As a first step we have the description of the environment and climate in the City of Puno, in a second stage we study spaces according to the geomorphology in which the city of Puno is located by analyzing each of these morphologically urban zones, by the HM ratio aspect, sky SVF view factor and selected orientation in each road using the technique of direct observation, and simulation in the ECOTECT program, obtaining in this also the incidence of radiation road surfaces. At open public spaces it was also analyzed by its shape and vegetation. In a third step the analysis of urban thermal comfort was conducted in each area and selected through technic...

According to the institutions (the International Financial Corporation - IFC and World Bank - WB) that regulate population resettlement and are in charge of issuing population resettlement standards, and, according to the entities that enforce these regulations, in theory, resettlements have to take place only when they are “necessary”. However, several cases has shown that what is necessary for mining projects developers differs from what is really necessary for their future neighbours - the population to be resettled. The argument of the political necessity of carrying out mining projects, almost instantaneously, annihilates any alternatives for a population to-be-displaced. This situation has revealed true power that is attributed to a mining company. By implementing a mining project, a mining company becomes the manager of the future of a community, hence of its present....

The main objective of the project is to demonstrate the feasibility of recycling pickling-tanning baths, ensuring the quality of the final product at ali times and achieving, on the one hand, the reduction of saline pollution (50%) caused by pickling and tanning baths and, on the other hand, the reduction of chromium salt (14%) in tanning wastewater. With regards to the anatytical parameters of the bath, the results show that the parameters analysed (pH, conductivity, density, chlorides, sulphates, chrome, solids in suspension and fats) are stabilised and the values obtained do not imply interferences in the pickling-tanning process. In parallel to the execution of these analyses, physical and chemical tests for quality control of the leathers were carried out, both on wet-blue and crust leathers. The results showed that there were no significan! differences in the leathers obtained with...

During the last years of Huaca Pucllana Project of Research, Conservation and Re-Valuation (PICPVHP), directed by Dr. Isabel Flores Espinoza, the Wari funerary contexts found on top of the Great Pyramid have become the main focus of study. There, several elements were found on the site in good state of preservation, such as structures, funerary bundles and offerings. All of this takes into consideration the analysis of bone remains, fabric and vegetal tissue by the Project’s specialists. These analysis are done in order to obtain results that will help us with the discussion of this topic...
