The objective of this instrumental study (Ato, López & Benavente, 2013) or psychometric-type (Alarcón, 2008) was to estimate the validity and reliability of the Self-Efficacy Inventory for Multiple Intelligences-Revised (IAMI-R, Pérez & Cupani, 2008) in Peruvian students of fifth year of high school. We worked with a sample of 1304 adolescents, with an average age of 16.81, divided into two groups of 652. Reliability was calculated with the Ordinal Alpha (Contreras & Novoa-Muñoz, 2018) and with the McDonald’s Omega coefficient, obtaining appropriate values. The Exploratory Factor Analysis (AFE) confirms the eight factors of the original version that explain 70% of the variability of the scores. In recent decades, Peru has experienced a 2.8% GDP growth, thanks to the gastronomic sector. Engaging in the food business has thus become a robust source of income for the country. Despite this, certain companies face internal issues related to the stocks managed by restaurants, as their staff lacks the necessary knowledge to handle inventory. This results in a 9.7% loss of sales within the sector, while the analyzed company incurs a 17% loss. La importancia de implementar un adecuado proceso de gestión de la demanda y el inventario mejora la coordinación en los modelos de cadena de suministro. El propósito de esta investigación es analizar y proponer la aplicación de una técnica de pronóstico y la implementación de una política de revisión continua de inventario mediante el diseño de una simulación para una empresa del sector comercial veterinario. Actualmente, las empresas sin esta coordinación obtienen un nivel de inventario inadecuado generando pérdidas en las utilidades y un bajo nivel de demanda de servicio. Este estudio presenta como resultado un modelo de optimización basado en la técnica ARIMA y un modelo de inventario simulado en el software Arena.

Background: Anxiety disorders are the most prevalent worldwide, followed by depressive disorders. The Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI; Beck et al., 1988) has been developed to assess the severity of anxiety symptoms and perform a differential diagnosis between anxiety and depression disorders. Objective: To examine the temporal stability of the BAI in its version adapted to Argentina and obtain evidence of discriminant validity. Method: In a sample of 52 people, the intraclass correlation coefficient was analyzed. Resource Control Theory (Hawley, 1999) has been presented as an alternative theory for the study of preadolescent social behavior. However, there are no instruments to assess its proposals for the Spanish language. The study’s objective was to validate the Resource Control Resources Inventory for the Chilean preadolescent population. For this purpose, qualitative and quantitative methodologies were used. 5th to 8th graders from two public schools from Santiago de Chile were part of the sample. Seven students were interviewed, and 180 were surveyed. After the translation and adaptation, the inventory showed an excellent fit to the factorial model, and the criterion validity showed similar results to those reported in recent literature.

The present investigation was oriented to establish the psychometric properties of the Inventory of ambivalent sexism (ASI) in young people from technical educational institutions of the Huaral district, the type of study that was used was instrumental, we worked with a census sample, which included 1000 students, from ages between 18 to 30 years. In a sample of 276 students from the 2do to the 6to degree of primary of a private school, the cluster analysis applied confirmed the internal structure of the inventory. On the other hand, the gender of the students as much as the school degree explained little variance in the differences in scores. These differences were, in general, not significant. On the other hand, regarding the psychometric propierties, (1) the analysis supported the validity of the assumed bi-dimensional structure; and (2) the reliability is acceptable.

The David Kolb Learning Styles Inventory was adapted for a population of 699 students, 382 men and 317 women in the 1st and 2nd years of secondary school in the military promoters of Metropolitan Lima. It is assumed as a theoretical basis that Kolb's learning styles refer to the way each person approaches learning in a peculiar way; fruit of inheritance, previous experiences and current demands of the environment in which it operates. Obtaining evidence of content validitythrough the Judges Criterion, using the Aiken reliability index V; For the Internal Consistency the Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient was used, obtaining a score of 0.99 and establishing the Percentiles by Areas EC - OR - CA - EA and by Dimensions CA - EC (x) and EO - OR (y), determining the categories based on the established coordinates, whose ranges are x = -21 to 11 and = -17 to 14.

Translation, adaptation, and validation of the Copenhagen Burnout Inventory for the Peruvian version

The goal is to adapt and analyze the psychometric properties of the Copenhagen Burnout Inventory (CBI) in workers of the national domestic violence helpline (Peru). Two measurements were taken in the same population (n=160). Translation-back translation was applied. Internal consistency was assessed with Cronbach’s alpha, corrected Item-Total Correlation and omega coefficient. Test-retest was performed in the second measurement. Convergent validity was examined with Pearson correlations with the Secondary Traumatic Stress Scale, the Perceived Stress Scale, and the Fear of Covid-19 Scale. Confirmatory Factor Analysis confirmed that the three-correlated factor model has the best fit. Logistics is an area that determines, in many cases, the prosperity of a company. Regardless of its size, the search for new tools, procedures and management techniques has increased in recent years. In the mining sector, the 49,9% of companies do not have an inventory control mechanism; therefore, a low turnover of this. This can be for three reasons: inefficient purchasing policy, inadequate demand planning, and inadequate storage method. For this reason, a model conformed by the following tools was developed: ABC classification, JIT, MRP, and inventory management. Likewise, the Arena Software was used in an SMEs that imported drill bits for the mining industry to validate the described model. The objective was to identify the relationship between inventory control and profitable management in the footwear commercial mypes of Chimbote, Ancash, 2023. The purpose of this study is to report evidence of construct validity and reliability of a new self-report instrument that measures mindfulness and equanimity in a Spanish speaking population. An initial pool of 26 items was evaluated by 17 experts from Spain and Latin America and modified on the basis of their comments. The resulting list of 21 items was administered to 746 university students in Mexico and Peru. Their responses were analyzed using Unweighted Least Squares (ULS) with promin rotations. Two factors were identified, mindless and mindful, with factor loadings ranging from .36 to .65. The reliability coefficients for the first and second factors were .78, and .82 respectively. The inter-factors correlation was -.51. The results indicate clear evidence of convergent and discriminative validity.

Percentile rank and normalized T standard scores related to the Multicultural State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory (IMECH) are presented. Obtained from a sample of 1502 freshman students of a public and a private university of Lima-Perú. The Alpha Cronbach reveals strong internal consistency of the Scale (IMECH). The correlations among the variables studied using the varimax rotation allows to find three factors: Factor I related to trait anger, anger in and anger out (factorial load >. 53). Factor II set the relatíon among anger stale and trait anxiety (factorial load >. 59). Factor III reveals The relationship among angry expressed behavioraly and cognitively (factorial load > .80). The depression diverges from the other principal constructs, the factorial loadings are low and show no relationship with none of the three factors.

The Rational Experiential Inventory consist of two large scales (rational and experiential), each one with two subscales (ability and engagement). Their psychometric properties have been studied in several countries, but there are no reports in the Latin American context. In this study we analyzed the factor structure and internal consistency of the Rational Experiential Inventory, and assessed the relationships between processing styles and different personality dimensions in a sample of students from Argentina. The results show an underlying two factorstructure with good internal consistency values. Only one significant relationshipbetween experiential style and extraversion was observed. A version with fewer items was attained and, due to its adequate psychometric properties, this instrument may be used in future research studies.
