The objective of this instrumental study (Ato, López & Benavente, 2013) or psychometric-type (Alarcón, 2008) was to estimate the validity and reliability of the Self-Efficacy Inventory for Multiple Intelligences-Revised (IAMI-R, Pérez & Cupani, 2008) in Peruvian students of fifth year of high school. We worked with a sample of 1304 adolescents, with an average age of 16.81, divided into two groups of 652. Reliability was calculated with the Ordinal Alpha (Contreras & Novoa-Muñoz, 2018) and with the McDonald’s Omega coefficient, obtaining appropriate values. The Exploratory Factor Analysis (AFE) confirms the eight factors of the original version that explain 70% of the variability of the scores. With the confirmatory factorial analysis (CFA), adjustment indices were obtained confirming this factorial structure: SSc2 = 1857.73, gl = 1047, SSc2 / gl = 1.77, RMSEA = .035, S...

Based in the model of Printrich and DeGrott (1990) and in spanish studies by Roces et al (1999), it has been elaborated a Motivation and Strategy of learning Scale to be used in third cycle of elementary school. The sample was ran¬dom and composed by 1215 students proportionally distributed according to kind of school (Public/private), sex and grade of studies (5th or 6th) of elementary school. The questionnaire has 2 sections, motivation and strategy of learning, each one with 6 scales. Its internal structure is evaluated by factor exploratory analysis with principal components and varimax rotation. This analysis along with item test correlations made possible to eliminate defective items and purifi the scales, which show psychometrically appropriate validity and reliability indexes, making of it an useful tool for the valuation of the referred variables.

The poor performances in Peruvian scholars’ mathematics have their origin in the elementary grades and the subjective construction of mathematical knowledge by the child. The sample of 60 children from third grade six state educational institutions with high and low performance in mathematics. The methodological approach corresponds to grounded theory. Data were collected through focus group. Among the main points about the meaning of mathematical knowledge are: the mathematics memorize in the formal education with the educational ones; it is preferable to have a teacher to a professor; in the home he/she is the support to carry out the school tasks; in the imaginary one family the mathematics and the language are the most important thing and they are linked with the intellectual capacity.

The instrumental psychometric qualities of the Emotional Impact Profile COVID-19 (García Pérez & Magaz, 2020) are analyzed and established in this instrumental study (Ato, López-García, & Benavente, 2013), in order to use it posteriori in the university student population in relation to the emotional impact generated by the effects of this virus in the Lima population. In a sample of 161 university students (117M; 44V) of an average age of 23 years (RIQ = 3), a virtual Profile form was administered, estimating the validity by analyzing its internal structure using a confirmatory factor analysis (AFC), intercorrelating the items of the five scales of the Profile: anger / resentment, fear, anxiety, stress and depression, with the polychoric coefficient and using the Weighted Least Square Mean and Variance Adjusted (WLSMV) estimator. The resulting indices show an excellent empir...
